Overall

The receptionist and the techs are very cordial, as one would expect. However, the vets themselves are extremely patronizing...the two I have dealt with seem to have been cut from the same cloth. I'm sure it was the sight of my tattoos (perhaps coupled with my very thick southern accent) that made them assume I would have no clue how to care for my dogs. Coming in for ambulatory care, I didn't expect to be peddled anesthesia-assisted dental cleanings, but that likely should've been my first clue. The suggestion to buy grain-based prescription food to "cure" a horribly seething systemic yeast infection should've been the second (of course, they carry said food). The third clue, being told that my dog's very swollen yeast-ridden ear could only be remedied with surgery. Of course, after the proper regimen of an appropriate antifungal, the ear is perfectly fine, sans surgery. But after all of this, I still called back to request a refill when my dog, while much better, still had a few hot spots after one month on ketoconazole. Instead of refilling the medicine, they made me bring the dog back in and do another expensive round of testing to "confirm" she had yeast. The vet, in all her infantilizing wisdom, attempted to explain to me that the original 30-day supply should've cured the yeast infection. If any of you have ever had any type of difficult-to-treat epithelial fungal infection, you know treatment may take as much as six months or more on an antifungal such as ketoconazole. I will never bring my pets to this money-hungry clinic again, and I have recommended against them numerous times.

The staff go out of their way to make sure your four legged loved one is cared for in loving and caring manner. Dr Swanner is awesome with my baby. You know that all their needs are met and attended for in a carin and professional manner.
