These guys are the best....
I've been with geist motorworks as a customer for 3yrs. Recently they became geist auto service. But the great thing about these guys is that they're very honest. They're setup so I can actually watch my car being worked on. They never try to sell me repairs I don't need. They have the best prices I've EVER seen and most parts are lifetime free replacement. They did my brakes for 130.00 and ill never ever have to worry about paying for them to be redone. If you haven't visited them you MUST DO SO... YOULL NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR ELSEWHERE I PROMISE!!!

Don't let these people touch your cars.

They replaced a tire for me on 5/24. It wouldn't hold air, and by the end of the day it was flat. I brought it in the next day for them to fix. After waiting forever, they determined that the seal around the Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensor was bad, so they ordered 2 different valve stem kits and I waited some more. After they got them, it turns out that they wouldn't work because the valve stems were different sizes.

Now my options were:
1.) Pay $60 to replace a sensor that was working fine before I took it to Geist Auto Services. (By the way, they said they couldn't program it, so the tire pressure light would still be on. After 5 minutes of googling the issue and looking in my Owner's Manual, it turns out that the process is easy and doesn't require a "special tool" at all.)

2.) Have them put a regular valve stem in.

I chose to have them put a regular valve stem in because it wouldn't make sense to replace a sensor that was working just fine*, and I was tired of waiting for parts. I'm going to take it somewhere else to have it fixed because at this point I'm tired of messing with Geist Auto Services.


*Upon closer inspection, it looks like they broke the little metal clip on the back of the sensor, so it is now useless. So much for that.
