General Practitioners

Primary Care
A physician is available 24/7. If you call the office for an urgent matter and the phone is not answered, you will be directed to call the answering service at 856-866-3765 to have the physician on call contacted. Routine messages will be answered by the next business day. Please direct issues that are not kidney or high blood pressure related to your primary care provider.
Emergency Care
Our office is open for patient visits 8 am – 5 pm Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Additional hours are available Thursdays and Fridays. Our policy is to accommodate same-day appointments for urgent kidney or blood pressure related issues whenever possible. After discharge from the hospital or emergency room with a kidney related diagnosis, you will be offered an appointment in our office within one week. We request 24-hour notification if you are unable to attend a scheduled appointment. It is your responsibility to obtain referrals for office visits if required by your insurance. Please bring a list of your medications to every office visit. You will receive instructions on how to access your electronic medical record at your first office visit. You must access the record within 30 days or will need to request a new password.

Internal Medicine
Dr. Beckie Michael is board certified in nephrology and internal medicine. She has been designated a Specialist in Clinical Hypertension by the American Society of Hypertension and is a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internists. In 2008, she received the designation “Fellow of the American Society of Nephrology” (FASN). FASN status represents recognition by the Society of outstanding credentials, high professional achievement, commitment to the field of nephrology, and demonstrated scholarship. She has been named a Top Physician by South Jersey Magazine, SJ Magazine and Philadelphia Magazine. Dr. Michael was a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine and Director of Dialysis Services at Thomas Jefferson University before founding Marlton Nephrology and Hypertension in 2006. She is currently Medical Director of DaVita Marlton Dialysis Center and is a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine. She is a member of Virtua Physician Partners and is an affiliate of Thomas Jefferson University Kidney Transplant Program.
