Spindler David D Dvm

I adopted a cat from the Humane Society just right up the street. I was aware that my cat had just gotten over an upper respiratory infection when we brought her home. I stayed in contact with the humane society in Marietta as well as in Parkersburg at the SPOT Clinic, we discussed how if her condition worsened then I would be able to bring her in and they would give her medication to help her condition. It did end up getting worse and so I contacted both facilities and SPOT was no help.. Marietta humane society told me to come in, and then made me come back two days later.. still no help. I received some kind of silly advice, and then got referred to some of the vets around town. I decided to go to Spindler's office due to that it was just up the road and I was straight fed up.
Upon arrival, the two ladies working the desk were extremely friendly. I was a walk-in, and unexpectedly received great service for not even having an appointment. The receptionist took great care of me, understanding my frustration after I told her my whole story of events, and prescribed my kitty an antibiotic and also added a supplement. She thoroughly answered any questions that I asked and was able to give me a rough estimate of cost in case I needed to bring my cat back in. She even went above and beyond by calling the humane society to tell them about the situation.
I never met Dr. Spindler but I can tell that these people here really do care about their animal patients as well as owners. Definitely will be returning to this vet office if and/or when my kitty needs help!
