International Hair At Margate

When I called for an appointment I specifically said haircut only which I was told was $35.00.
Victor gave me my best haircut ever!!
When I paid at the front desk. I was told the charge was $45.00.
Victor dried my hair after the cut , used the blower dryer and crunched
my hair with his fingers. This WAS NOT a styling using a brush etc.
It was a rip off as far as I am concerned charging me $10.00 more.
Very unpleasant experience except for the great haircut.

Bonnie is amazing! Best haircut I have ever had, seriously. And I also came to her with a color correction problem - I had a botched ombre situation (more like dip dyed hair). She was very patient in going over everything before we began, we talked about a few options, and I trusted her with my hair. We ended up having to do a partial (half head) highlights, base color, and toner. The highlights were perfectly placed, the base color she pulled through the parts that weren't highlighted, and the toner made it all look great. She did an amazing job. It was just what I wanted and more. Her technique is great. The prices are great. She treated me like a client and spent time on my hair to make sure it was right. I definitely recommend her! ask for Bonnie :))

I've been coming to this salon for about 1 year. Keila colored my very dark hair with blonde highlights very nicely...the first 3 times. In fact I only had to go back every 3 months. Until February. She did my highlights but left about ¼ to ½ inch of black roots. So of course instead of going back in 3 months I was back on March 25th Approximately 6 weeks later. We did blond highlights and some low lights. She left more than a ½ inch of black roots. I was there for 2 hours and couldn't spare anymore time and it was already late afternoon. My husband noticed the black roots on the top and back right away, and for him to notice it's pretty bad. There was a ½ of black and gray roots right in the front all around my face. I work during the week so I couldn't make it back there until today, the day before Easter. I went right at 10 and she said she really was very busy...but that she would squeeze me in. She put in 3 inch black roots all over my head!!!! I walked in complaining about a ½ inch of roots and walked out with 3 inches of black roots. She said I would have to come back next Saturday for her to fix it. I can't understand what happened here, I've tipped her at least 20% or more each time I've gone! Needless to say I will never go back to this place and I'm very upset and disappointed. She charged me $75 last week to do my highlights and I gave her a $15.00 tip, I now have an appointment on Monday night with another place and will have to pay the same if not more to fix what she did. The only thing I can think of is that she was leaving the roots so that I'd have to come in more often...perhaps I shouldn't have tipped so well. If that was the case then it backfired.

The salon is very nice . the service is good and the prices are amazing!!!
