Flowers, Etc.

When we first opened our business in Mansfield, everyone at the Chamber of Commerce told us to use Flowers Etc. We have had a business account with them for 18 years. During that time, they have provided flowers for several professional and personal occasions. My daughter's Daddy/daughter dance corsage has always come from them. Most recently they provided a floral arrangement for my mother-in-law's casket. It was beautiful. They have always done the best work in town.

I have used Flowers Etc for all my floral needs for years. They always do beautiful work and give you good value for your money. They recently did a beautiful casket cover for my father's funeral. I was very pleased with the arrangement, it was gorgeous.

Wanted to order flowers from local store instead of a big flower chain. I believe the flowers do not look like what was ordered so I called to inquire why mostly purple was used instead of pink like the photo looked and the owner or whoever was working there started arguing back with me so strongly I had to raise my voice for him to stop arguing and even listen to what I was saying. Man was COMPLETELY uncalled for. I was not even trying to get new flowers sent just wanted to let him know it did not match what was ordered. CANNOT believe how rude this man was DO NOT recommend ordering from here. I never will again.

TERRIBLE OWNERS. BAD SERVICE. DO NOT BUY FLOWERS FROM THIS STORE. YOU WILL NOT GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR. The week before Christmas I searched for and found what I thought to be an ethical local florist in Mansfield. I did not want to use a big internet company. I wanted to support my local businesses. I called and placed an order for the highest tier of a particular Christmas arrangement for my manager. At the time the lady taking my order was very helpful and they even had to order the flowers, which pushed the delivery to the next day. When the flowers were delivered the next day, they were half the size that they were supposed to be. I called the store and was told the owner would not be available until the following day. A few days later, I was finally able to make contact with the owner, and express my concerns. The only thing she offered to do at the time was go pick the flowers up. She proceeded to tell me that the arrangement was made according to the "specifications" for that arrangement and that it didn't matter what the arrangement looked like upon delivery. I asked her if she wanted to see a picture and she refused. She then very condescendingly proceeded to tell me two things. First of all, she said she had seen the arrangement herself and was actually surprised that they came out as good as they did. Secondly, she very schnarkily said, "So you just don't want to pay. Is that it?" I responded that I would just like to come to a compromise. She proceeded to give me a lecture on floral arranging and stem count when all I was trying to do was to get her to stand by the imagery she has posted on her website. I finally told her I would be okay with her just meeting me halfway. I told her I would take a ten dollar credit as an act of good faith. You would have thought I was asking her to surrender her first born child. I wish I could post the pictures here so that you could see the difference in the size of the arrangement I ordered and what was delivered. Unfortunately, I can't. The best I can do is write this review. To get me off the phone, she agreed to give me a ten dollar refund accompanied by the most sarcastic, "Merry Christmas" I have ever heard in my life. I never got the refund. My only recourse is this review. I really thought that a down home, local, florist would have held themselves to a much higher ethical standard. I guess I was wrong. Please, if you are tired of being jerked around by everyone in today's society, and always having to put up with less than what you paid for then please, please, do not order or support this florist. Clearly they hold themselves above the rest of us.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE: FLOWERS ECT-MANSFIELD

Well my Beautiful flowers that my hubby sent me yesterday are not what he ordered, spelled my name wrong, all wilted and dead today! Hubby calls to talk with FLOWERS ECT. The gentleman wanted to argue and not want to help in any way. No refund or offer to correct the situation. Needless to say they lost a long time frequent customer!!!
