Boyd Eyecare

I really don't understand the bad reviews! This is the second time I've ordered glasses with them! I always arrive to my appointments on time and am seen quickly. I'm greeted when I come in. I'm offered bottled water and sometimes they have homemade goodies that are offered as well. I've worked with three of the doctors since I've been a patient. I have to admit, Dr. Boyd is my favorite doctor, lol. This last time, I decided I wanted to try multi focal contacts in addition to my multi focal glasses. The doctors and all of the staff including the office manager Brandy assisted me in multiple visits trying to find the right contacts for me. Teaching me how to put them in and taking them out. Teaching me how to care for my lens. Giving me samples of cleaning products and eye drops since they informed me I have dry eyes. Mind you, this went on for a few weeks and every time I was seen, they were very helpful, professional and went above and beyond to help me. They sent me an email letting me know my contacts had arrived and faster than we expected. My glasses will be in soon as well. I have had nothing but positive experiences with this office. And, Sandy is a sweetheart and is so knowledgeable! I love going to this office! I've been to several different optical offices in the past and have never had this type of service where the employees truly care about their patients, I'm sold!

I have a high chance of developing glaucoma and I've always known that from previous doctor visits. When I first went to boyd eye care they told me that I would need advanced testing done and that it could be done there. I recently returned for the glaucoma work up and it turns out that I need an Ophthalmologist for additional testing and a second opinion. I figured that based on my previous visit with them that they could have referred me to the Ophthalmologist right there and then instead of misleading me to pay them an additional $250 for tests they could not perform.
