Dr Filardo is horrendous! Bullied me into a c-section with threats of court order and police intervention as I cried begging her to just wait as I had a perfectly normal natural delivery the 1st time...she just didn't want to wait AND wanted to hide the fact that her uninvited anesthesiologist botched the epidural that she talked me into against my better judgement. She made me never want a female ob/gyn again. If only I had known back then that I actually had rights ����

I used Brielle OBGYN after I found out I was pregnant in July, 2014. I want to start off by saying that I had no problems whatsoever with Dr. Michael Keelan nor Dr. Joanne Chang. However, the other doctors there could care less about their patients. The staff at the front desk is absolutely as rude as can be. They even answer the phone with attitude. When I was 12 weeks long, they did blood work on me also known as the Panorama. They told me I would have my results back within 5 days. 7 days later, I called and they said they still didnt have them in. Now this test is also to test for genetic abnormalities and I was beginning to get worried after two weeks of not hearing anything. I would call every other day and all they would say is "we do not know anything yet". Well after 15 days, YES 15 days after the test, I finally found out. Luckily, nothing was wrong, but I was worried for weeks. I even asked the manager why they would tell me 5 days if they knew it would take longer. After I complained to them, they changed their policy to say the normal wait time on the test was 15 days. When I was around 36 weeks pregant, I had to get blood work, which they did not inform me until the day I got there for my appointment and I was scheduled to see Dr. DiTusa and I have to say she was so rude. I was worried because before I had my baby, I was deathly afraid of needles. So I was explaining to her how I wanted to request they use the butterfly needle on me, and she says to me "Well we dont stick you because we want to". I requested that I only wanted Dr. Keelan or Dr. Chang to deliver my baby after the bad experiences with the others. Not to mention, I had to see a different doctor at every visit. They did not know what was going on with me other than reading my chart and to me, that is just unprofessional. After my pregancy, at the 6 week check-up I was scheduled for, I was sitting in the exam room and I could hear the staff and Dr. Filardo talking amongst one another and I overheard Dr. Filardo cursing at the staff because they "overbooked her". Well I dont know about everyone, but I do not like sitting in the exam room with nothing on but a piece of plastic paper and hearing the doctor that is supposed to exam me, curse at her staff while complaining that she has to come in the room to see me. This place is a joke and I would never recommend anyone to this office. I truly hope that other first time moms-to-be did not have the bad experience that I did. Doctors need to take in consideration that not everyone has been through the process like they have and do not see what is going on everyday. I was a first time mom-to-be and I was worried and scared.
