Sittin Dogs

This is an awesome place to board you dog. The kennel is located in a rural setting. Colleen loves dogs and treats them all like they are hers (she has 7 of her own). There are only a few kennels (maybe a dozen) and they are all indoor/outdoor--VERY CLEAN. The building is heated or air-conditioned as appropriate. Nice as the kennels are, the dogs are not confined in them all day. She tests each dog she is boarding to see if they get along with each other or not. If they do, they get to play together in her huge fenced yard. If they don't, they get exercise time on their own in this yard. She also plays with each dog.



She charges a very reasonable rate because you supply your own food and bedding (which I always do anyway). At no charge, she allowed us to bring our German Shepherd for two visits of a couple of hours each so he would get the idea that we were coming back for him. He had such a good time at the kennel (we left him for 11 days) that he slept for two days when he came home. And he came home HEALTHY!



Next time we need a kennel, we will definitely use this one!

This kennel is fantastic! We take our 3 year old husky and 7 mo old boxer to Sittin Dogs, We love Colleen. She takes such good care of our guys and they always get so excited when we pull up. She really gets to know your pets and their schedules. We always feel comfortable leaving our pets here!

We feel so comfortable leaving our three dogs with Colleen, the owner. They are always happy and worn out from all the play! She pays attention to each one, and we love Sittin Dogs!
