- My bodywork is influenced by many techniques, that has inspired the name Syntropy Neuromuscular Integration. The intention of Syntropy Neuromuscular Integration Bodywork is to affect the whole structure and to release from the deep layers of the body, to find the places of greatest ease in the body then encourage that space to expand through movement and touch. And through this leading to dis-integration, a main feature of neuromuscular education, where body parts that may be stuck together are reminded of the possibility of moving separately. To make a noticeable and lasting change that goes far beyond the hour and half or two on the table. The work is non-invasive and clients feel safe very quickly, it has the ability to affect long time pain patterns in every individual who will allow it to happen, restoring balance and promoting overall well being of body, mind and spirit. A lot can be accomplished in one treatment, although the most lasting benefit will be reached through a series of regular treatments followed by regular maintenance, (its like keeping your car running smoothly for years, you invest some time and money into maintenance when the car is a few years old, and then keep it oiled and lubricated on a regular basis).

I was in Maui training for the paddle board championships Molokai to Oahu. I was very sore and out of alignment and had problems with range of motion. I went to see Johanna and she spent about an hour and half working on me and it was incredible to watch and feel how in touch she was in finding and correcting the problems I was having. My whole body felt supple and energized after she had finished and she helped my paddling performance the following week for the championship. I plan on seeing her regularly next season when I am training on Maui. I know it will help my performance. I would highly recommend this type of treatment over regular message especially for competitive athletes.
