Norton Hospital

Hi; My name is Jerry Schafer. My father was a patient at Nortons Hospital in Louisville, Ky Oct. 27th until he passed early Monday Nov. 2nd. I can't say enough good about the nurses on the fifth floor during his (our) time there. Dad was in three different wings on that floor during his stay. The professional attitudes of ALL the nurses we encountered was unprecedented. You have to understand...we have a very large family and we had several members of the family there at all times. The staff NEVER once seemed upset, irritated or put out of place because of our presence. We no doubt caused confusion, lack of space for them to do their jobs and just overall chaos at times with our chatter and overcrowding of their space. I commend them for putting up with this family of 13 kids, 32 grandkids and 31 great grandkids that took over the fifth floor during this difficult time of losing our father. Again, from the bottom of our hearts, THANKS!!!

Terrible experience Sabina rn worst nurse I've ever encountered. Rushed iv blood everywhere she didn't even attempt to clean the blood off my husband's arm. Offered meds he told her the meds make him nauseous she pushed meds quickly made him sick. .which was intentional.. I am a registered nurse at an out of town hospital so I know about bedside manner and how to give meds . . Worst experience ever
