Overall

Yes, the cockroaches are bad. Being woken up by someone's dog at 7 on a Sunday is also bad. The streets filled with garbage, used condoms and urine aren't too great.

But you know what's even worse? The drug dealers hanging outside every night. This place has gone from scary to TERRIFYING. For the love of God, don't rent here.

This place is horrible. Never live here.

No parking. Get home by 6pm at the LATEST in order to get a parking spot. If it's too late, the parking is either non-existant and you have to circle the gross streets forever, or you have to park really far away in a sketchy spot.

Yes bugs in the apartment, the mesh screens don't fully fit onto the windows, thus leaving gaps for the bugs to enter. Roaches are way more common than spiders.

The streets smell like pee. Why can't people not litter? No use in trying to save the environment here, because no one seems to care.

You can survive this neighborhood if you're out the whole day at work or something, but if you want to "relax and chill at home", that's impossible. Neighbors yap on the phone all night, the TV is frequently blasting, dogs barking, babies crying, and NO ONE SHUTS THEM UP.

The price you save living here IS NOT WORTH IT. Look elsewhere.

I would give 0 stars if this website would allow it.

DO NOT under any circumstances rent from this place.

Unless you like cockroaches, bed bugs and loud obnoxious neighbors with screaming children that they do not control. People blast their music at all hours, their dogs bark and howl and whine ALL NIGHT. The management doesn't do anything about noise complaints.

Oh, and there is NO parking ever. The families that live in the neighborhood dominate the entire block, as well as the surrounding ones. Then at night as their famiy memebers start to come home they rearrange the whole block to fit as many of there cars in as possible.

You can't go out at night because the neighborhood is so bad.

It always smells like urine. Its a dirty nasty place to live.

Don't let them fool you with the prices and promises of new management.

They recently sold our apartment buildings with no warning and we now have new management that is impossible to get ahold of.

I literally CANT STAND IT HERE.

I am so disgusted.

scam for poor people

i moved in, and at the time, they were "renovating" the apartments, which consisted of putting a big metal ugly box inside the apartments to regulate energy usage, and when i moved out, they had the NERVE to charge me for painting the walls...this is damage THEY did to renovate the apartment that they never took care of! now i have a collection on my credit because i refuse to pay for painting an apartment that they damaged in their "renovating" process!

if you can, avoid living here. roaches are abundant. 3 people were shot and 2 killed during the time i lived in these apartments in the neighborhood. the men stand outside leering at the woman. parking is a monopoly controlled by the families already entrenched on the block. it's not worthi it at all

Horrible...just horrible

I had to give this place at least 1 star, but if i could i would give it negative stars. The new management this place has is just incompentent and unwilling to help you with any problems. Before, there were at least people in the management office, but now it seems like they are tired of receiving complaints and will not be around unless it is to sucker new people into moving in their buildings. This includes 425, 427 and 447 what they call the Grandview Collection, but is better known as the cesspool.

They frequently advertise on Cragislist and other online website to trick out of state renters to their buildings. Their rent has recently gone down dramatically because of their poor service, filthy buildings, and questionable practices. A studio, which use to run for 800 is now listed as 600; however, if i had a choice, i would not move in here again. Save yourself some time and headache and look elsewhere. Some of us who are already stuck here have no choice, but i would not be able to sleep if i didnt do anything in my powers to get this place shut down.

TERRIBLE!!!!

Terrible roach infested building, but worse that the roaches were the BED BUGS!!!! Elevator is often out of service, even for months at a time. Maintenance and management are terrible, no matter how much they keep changing them. While I lived there I wouldn't even have people over for fear that they'd take bed bugs with them since they travel on people's belongings without being seen. The problem has gone on for over 2 years with no solution in sight. Please do yourself a favor and never sign a lease there beacuse it will be very difficult to break it.
