Fundamental La

I've been here for both dinner and lunch. During lunch hours, it's a nice sandwich shop where you go order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. I had the brisket sandwich and thought it was delicious. I also got the tempura avocado which was also good.

Dinner is a bit more romantic with dim lights and tea candles. They're known for their pee wee potatoes and that that did not disappoint. They had a nice crispy skin and the right amount of seasoning and then dipping it into the creme fraiche was awesome.

Intimate spot with great small plates-style food.

This place is small and tucked away just south of Wilshire in Westwood, but a great little spot. Fantastic food and a great place to grab a drink. Wish it was around when I was at UCLA.

Was there with a large group for a holiday celebration. We were seated in the back and got an excellent selection of their small plates that we all shared. I was particularly impressed with their vegetarian selection. The plates were paired with an unusual selection of white and red wines from lesser known regions, which included a great white from the Alsace region in eastern France.

The decor is minimalistic and up-to-date. The kitchen is open to the bar and provides a great view behind the scenes.

Great location in the heart of Westwood. Highly recommended.
