If I could, I give it 0 stars . If I would have known about the risks about living in their property I would have called Building Safety and the Health Department as soon as I moved in . 5 rats in 1 year, cockroach and flea problem ,unprofessional maitenance done in apartments and unprofessional and rude managers in their properties . She violated my confiditentiallity and turned in my checks late everytime . Not to mention my apartments broken into twice due to fake cameras , allowed drug usage in back of apartment and in front and no security at all in building . Please listen when I say don't rent from them and if you do seek legal assistance and all the departments you need

This company has been in business since 1990 apparently, "managing" dozens and dozens of residential apartment buildings throughout Los Angeles with such outright disrespect for proper etiquette for the newer tenants who have been subjected to some bizarre and legally questionable Lease Contracts. It seems like a very new "scheme" to sucker in temporary tenants yet they have several advertising agents posting false advertisements that should actually be TRUTHFUL in the fact that this property management company aims for HIGH TURN OVERS and will do anything in their power to harrass or kick tenants out if they've lived for too long (meaning more than a year or god forbid, 2 or 3 yrs!). It is beyond logic as to how/why this company promotes vacancies and targets apt hunters who are in search of a place to SETTLE for more than a year or a year and a half. CPM has successfully harrassed dignified and prompt paying tenants out for god-knows why. The head supervisor is a nightmare to say the last, I mean she does not supervise her staff properly AT ALL. She could care less about being fair or cordial or even LEGALLY respectful of the City Housing laws not to mention the LA County or California State Laws! I am so baffled by the stories I've heard about CPM's lead supervisor and her staff who are trained to be just as conniving and so blatantly RUDE as it seems their only agenda is to increase rent by intimidation and DEMAND. Their leasing office LA Rentals, have a decent staff but the head supervisor and her CPM Inc. staff have absolutely no concern about tenants' rights and instead, is fueled by landlord brutality and tyranny. Be warned if you're looking for an apartment and it happens to be managed by Commercial Property Management, Inc. - this mgmt company are run by the most heartless and deceitful people you could ever imagine (at most two main supervisors and President of the Management Co.), you will regret wasting your precious and hard earned income paying rent at one of the buildings CPM runs/manages. It is truly an atrocity that such a company has gotten away with SO much inexcusable treatment of tenants for so long. So please - do yourselves a favor and **RESEARCH THE LANDLORD & PROPERTY MGMT COMPANY of the APARTMENT YOU'RE INTERESTED IN** I cannot stress this enough! I had to learn the hard way with this particular, extremely incompetent Mgmt Company. THEY ARE NOT LOOKING FOR LONG-TERM LOYAL TENANTS. THEY ONLY SEEK TO COMBAT WITH PROMPT RENT PAYING TENANTS WHO CAUSE NO TROUBLE WITH NEIGHBORS, BUT YOU BET THAT THEY WILL GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO BLAME ANYTHING ON YOU. They will go so far as to LIE to intimidate and harrass you. It's absolutely ridiculous and very un-abiding to city, county and even state laws --- I HAVE NO IDEA WHY SO MANY TENANTS SUFFER SUCH TREATMENT AT THE APARTMENTS THEY RUN/MANAGE. Stay away from CPM Inc. properties if you do not want Landlord drama in your life. Trust me.
