Deshon Animal Hospital

The level of service provided by Deshon animal hospital for my pet Marley and i has always been consistent and exceptional . I take her there for everything from yearly vaccines, to monthly bathing, and occasional boarding. I appreciate the knowledge and compassion for pet and i by the primary vet Dr. Jamal Toler and his assistants Nicole and Nakia. When Marley comes here she knows she is among friends. I highly recommend Deshon animal hospital to anyone searching for a competent clinic to provide a range of services where there pet will receive the most loving care

My dog Neko absolutely loves this hospital!!! I've taken him to other animal hospitals for boarding and vaccines in the past but never again! He always get so happy to be there that shows me that they really take care for him when I'm away. Doctor Toler and the staff are all very friendly and sweet. I had him board with them for thanksgiving and when I came to pick him up he did not want to leave the girl lol it did make me very happy. I will recommend deshon animal hospital to everyone!

The Staff and Dr. Toler at Deshon Animal Hospital are Amazing!!! They all do such a wonderful job with our Bulldog Star. She absolutely loves it there and gets so excited to go to the vet.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMAL HERE! This Vet does NOT care about animals!! My fiance took our dog here to get his ears clipped when he was 3 months old. He did a poor job, the stitches on one ear were loosely done and our poor dog had to be in an E collar for over three months! Over those three months we had to take him back numerous times to get his ears tapped correctly. The tape would come off within hours and he would charge us $20 each time. That was strike one but we tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. We continued to take him for his vaccines.

Our dog is now 15 months old and had grown to like the girls that work in the office. This past Thanksgiving, my fiance and I were going to fly to California to visit family and decided to board our dog. We went back and forth on boarding him at Deshon Animal Hospital or PetsMart. We decided to go with Deshon since he had grown accustomed to going there. This was the biggest mistake we ever made. Our dog was boarded from a Wednesday to Monday. (Only because they close at 12pm on Saturdays and are closed on Sunday). My fiance picked our dog up and he had lost 20 pounds! He had poop stuck to the back of his hind legs, on his butt and back of his tail. I don't think these people took our dog to use the bathroom! On top of that, his hind ankle/paw was swollen 3 times its size! When my fiance asked the vet about his leg, he got an attitude with him and said "Well what do you want me to do about it?" He also refused to give our dog an X-ray. He kept going back and forth with my fiance on the fact that his leg gotten like this while in HIS care. We ended up taking our dog to PetSmart that evening, where they gave him an X-ray and come to find out it was an infection that my dog probably got from their kennels. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMAL TO DESHON ANIMAL HOSPITAL! Dr. Toler is horrible and did not care about my dogs well being AT ALL! I will never step foot in this place again and I feel sorry for any of those that do.

Dr. Toler and his team were amazing to Piper and I. I went to Their office in a panic after piper was attacked by a neighborhood dog. Dr Toler and his staff acted swiftly and efficiently! We even worked out a treatment plan that was best for Piper and my budget! Piper had her two week follow-up appointment and has healed up great!

If longevity is any indication of satisfaction then I am the poster child. I have been bringing my pets here since Dr. Toler and Dr. Rose have owned the practice and prior. It is a bit of a drive, and I could find somewhere closer, but they are family now! I ask about their children--they treat my pets like they are my children ( Though I do also have human kids). I know and love the office staff as well. Always so kind and helpful.

Dr. Toler saved my dogs life… My dog Max was hit by a car… All of the skin on his back and side was ripped off. He was in excruciating pain. I took him to Dr. Toler @Deshon and I was all ready to put him to sleep… I didn't see how he could be saved. Dr. Toler started treatment as soon as we came into the hospital… Once he was stable he came out to talk to me. I had already made my mind up to put him to sleep… I remember Dr. Toler asking me, “Do you want to save him or are you just ready to let him go” I wanted to save him of course… Dr. Toler said, “Let me work on him, if I think he won’t make it I will let you know and you can put him to sleep then”… Max required several surgeries to remove dead skin and repair his injuries… He also developed a superbug bacterial infection… During Max’s stay in the hospital I lost a very important family member… Max was all I had left… After several months in the hospital and several surgeries Dr. Toler saved him… I remember the day I picked him up, he was scared on the outside but 100% on the inside… Thanks Dr. Toler for not giving up on my dog even when I did.

Capone Jacobs has received VERY EXCELLENT care here! The staff gives one on one attention to all pets!

Dr Toler & Dr Rose both do a fantastic job!!!

They have taken care of our poodle safari for almost 9 years! he loves the attention and love he gets! Dr Toler also takes care of our large outside dog Rotter. In 2009 we lost our beloved dog Dexter and Dr Toler was so wonderful & compassionate. He came over to our home and took care of all of Dexter's arrangements. We love Deshon Animal Hospital and wouldn't trust our pets to any other vet! They have Total trust ALWAYS!

Everyone is so sweet and nice! the doctor takes out time for us and the our Oscar! They always know us by face and oscar always runs to them as if he was theirs

I have used Deshon Animal hospital since 2009. I have seen my two dogs go from timid and shy to blossoming. They get excited whenever we pull into the parking lot!!! I know from experience they receive the best care from Dr. Toler and his WONDERFUL staff. It is obvious from staff interaction with my pets that they enjoy their work! My dog Freddie does great @ Dr. Toler's office. My family recommends this office to anyone.

I would not recommend this vet! $1300 later and all I have paid for is inconclusive tests. Then the doctor tells me that it will cost another $800 to run more tests. All the doctor cares about is the money. There is no compassion for the animals or their owners; all he cares about is running up a bill and being PAID!

We really appreciate Dr. Toler and his staff. Our dog Raini was facing a life threatening concern. Dr. Toler was not at the time Raini's primary doctor whom we were unable to contact, however this did not reflect in the care and service to Raini and our family. Our dog is alive today, healthy and happy thanks to our primary physician Dr. Toler. We will forever be thankful.

Deshon Animal Hospital is the best place to bring your animal. Kermie enjoys his visits and does not cry or try to resist when bringing him for his check ups, baths or shots. I would recommend Deshon Animal Hospital to all of my friend!

We have been coming here for the past 5 years, making the long trip from home because of the excellent customer service, care, and prices they offer. The vets/nurses have always been so nice and responsive to our pets needs. one of our dogs went through a near death experince and Deshon Animal Hospital helped to fix her right back to health! keep up the good work.

I recently referred too individuals to Deshon animal hospital. The boarding procedures are excellent! In the past hospitals that i have worked with my dog has always come back sick after boarding, but not with Deshon! It's refreshing to know my dog is well taken care of . The assistant care givers and the doctors are wonderful. Thanks for being so good to piper!

The staff & Dr. Toler are very perfesional & friendly. They are very thorough in their explanations and helpful.
