I have taken fosters to Pitts for many years just for vaccinations, but mylatest foster dog was neutered here yesterday and he came home bright red all over the scrotum and up his belly. The neuter was botched, and they spent the day trying to tell me this was normal. I have been in rescue for 20 years and have seen countless spays and neuters and this was so far from normal I was appalled by being told this was normal. The fact that someone not as familiar with how it was supposed to look might have believed them is the worst part. The dog will now have to suffer needless pain till he heals. Do not take your pets here!

I've been going to Pitts for 22 years. They have many extremely qualified vets on staff, great office hours open much longer than most clinics, and they only do what needs to be done or what I ask for. Never once have I been offered a service I didn't need or want. The front desk is fabulous, too. Prices are competitive, not high or low. This is not a money-motivated vet clinic, but an animal health-motivated one!!
