Established in 1966, Lewis Clark Early Childhood Program is a nonprofit organization serving the southeastern Washington and North Central Idaho areas. It specializes in providing early childhood education and family support services for limited income families. Based in Lewiston, Idaho, the childhood center offers several services, such as education, family support, parent involvement, health and nutrition, mental health, disabilities services, community outreach and child care. Lewis Clark Early Childhood Program offers numerous services through Head Start (HS), Early Head Start (EHS), Washington Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP) and Idaho funded Home-Based Program.
