El Sombrero

I have always liked El Sombrero until recently (past year). I just started eating their chicken fajitas around that time and they were/are good. But a few months later they started adding in more onions and leaving out most of the chicken. And this includes the El Sombrero down by Red Lion. But recently I went to the Bryden location and called ahead of time to place our dine-in orders. Well, whoever was on the phone sounded real snobby and rude. I could understand one lil' snobby comment or response but for the entire conversation! No! She made it sound like calling in a couple hours ahead was something they just don't do for their customers whenever they place orders. But just every question she asked seemed like it was some sort of inconvience to her. I thought she would probably be better in person (because maybe she had a line of people to help) but no...she still had this lazy, nonchalant, "I could be doing better things" kinda attitude. So now I think I will cut back on going there. And if I really must eat Mexican I'll go to the one downtown or just skip that and go to Paraiso Vallarta all together!

The food was great! Very flavorful, decent price for portion. The waitress we had however was rude and acted as if it were a punishment to wait on us, very unprofessional. She was snotty and had an attitude toward us. I have had her on multiple occasions and have always felt that way with her. Not a nice environment to go into with that kind of service.
