Someone needs to shut this place down and charge the entire staff with neglect, physical abuse and fraud. We have been dealing with them for almost eight years unfortunately as it is the only option. Pills are not sent 90% of the time, we have to call at least 5 times and they keep making false promises. They beat and abuse the patients this is disgraceful. I called them and they are just fooling around in the office I don't think they realized they answered so I hungup and called back. They said "Hi this is lifestream what you want?" I said my wife needs her pills you guys sent the wrong ones from the pharmacy it is an emergency she is going to go through withdrawls now. They could care less, I asked for how to contact their HR as this is negligence and they said I can't help you bye and they hungup on me. I called back again they said STOP CALLING so I hungup. I cannot comprehend how they are still around. Feel free to contact me for any more details of what these criminals are up to. I genuinely feel sorry for anyone impacted by their abuse as I know it is not just us who experiences it from them monthly. Over the 8+ years we dealt with them I have gotten frustrated several times because they always make mistakes that cause medical harm to my wife due to sending wrong pills or perscriptions incorrect milligram and sometimes pills she isn't even perscribed anymore... It makes no sense how they get away with it. We need to file a petition with our state government to look into them and investigate. It is literally EVERY single month there is a different issue. Not just the pharmacy, but the front office. Genoa/Life Stream in Leesburg are a criminal enterprise that leech off of the mentally ill. I am sick to my stomach thinking about all I have seen and heard and dealt with from these monsters.

I have been submitted into Lifestream on and off for about 5 years now (2012-2015). I've been getting better over time with other help. However, my past visits to this facility have been awful! I have countless stories of improper conduct ranging from staff to the general building. The workers, I can't even say have any experience in nursing, often like toying with their patients. They've always been disrespectful to the patient's, treating us like prisoners and animals. A nurse has even laid their hands on a younger teenage patient for misbehaving. They don't really try to help the patients there, as they don't give them the resources they need such as underwear, as I'm aware some items are prohibited in mental care facilities. With patients in crisis, the police who bring patients to the facility often use violent procedures to get them in, while the nurses just watch. In another instance, they gave me a bucket to induce vomiting, that had previous brown stains, to this day I don't know if it was fecal matter or dried up blood from a previous user. The blankets in this place have holes and seem very old during the cold insulated nights. Each day they do lock the bathrooms, and one time when I asked to go, I was refused to use the bathroom by a nurse, and often patients are known for having unsanitary conditions of using the bathroom in the room or bed because of this. The nurses are known for taunting patients when they do a mishap. The facility does not have a lot of rooms, and often patients have to share rooms if it is full, and when a patient complains, they have the option to sleep in the hallway. I was humiliated and abused in lifestream, the nurses once again, would touch me and hit me while I was in a panic state. When I did manage to complain, the police would have arrived to my house, after I've been dismissed months later, and nothing had been fixed about it. The actual professionals in this place do help when they can, but even than, the workers just prescribe you medicine that they don't even know what they're doing. You're a test subject at this point. The medicine damages your brain and body to some degrees and you won't even notice it because you think it's gonna help you. If you speak up to the staff, in one instance they will give you multiple injections to put you to sleep, and 'quiet' down. Dr. Goya, a trained professional, gave me injections for disagreeing about not wanting treatment from her, due to a financial status. She did not clearly speak english at the time. The staff can't control the out of control patients. In another accident, a member staff clearly not in the right state of mind, had walked up to me and starting to touch specific body parts of mine, and once again, the staff did nothing but give me another injection. The cafeteria conditions were terrible, you could see unsanitary conditions in any room.

terrible time for me is a horror movie reality

(Former Behavioral Therapist at Lifestream Leesburg)
I write this review in hope that someone of influence and strength within the Mental Health Department of Florida will take notice and take action to close this facility once and for all. On the surface the facility appears adequate enough but once your loved ones of friends are taken behind the closed doors, be assured that "adequate" does not come close to defining the level of care or experience especially when it comes to minors. This is a "revolving door" facility with no end. No place for children! I tried my best while working to help many of the minors who were admitted daily, but the therapeutic team seemed more interested in filling their heads with problems they did not even know they had! If a news reporter would enter the facility under cover, the result would be the telling of the truth and saving countless lives. Do not trust this facility and keep your loved ones and friends away from here at any cost.
