Overall

I was really afraid of the pain of fixing my teeth, but after my first visit I felt that Dr. Noor was professional, honest & sincere and the sedation dentistry proved to be the best option for me...I would definitely recommend this office to anyone, especially those who are uncomfortable going to the dentist. They make it painless and enjoyable.

Fillings
Amalgam used for dental fillings is a combination of mercury, tin and other metals. Though American Dental Association has confirmed that the amount of mercury released from amalgam fillings over its lifetime is too less to be harmful, people are more health conscious and turning towards removal of amalgam fillings and replacing the same with composite or other types of fillings. The removal of amalgam fillings requires utmost care to ensure that patients do not swallow small pieces of the filling or inhale the vapor of mercury during the course. Removal of amalgam fillings is one of the procedures performed at our dental office. Our dental care aims to improve the quality of life of our patients.
Resin Composite
If the surface of your tooth has imperfections, a veneer may be the right choice for you. Veneers are extremely thin, but gain a great deal of strength and durability when bonded to natural teeth. The shade of the veneer, along with its shape and size will be made to match your surrounding teeth so that it blends in perfectly. Composite resin and porcelain are the most commonly used materials in the veneer fabrication process. Veneers

Crowns
Between appointments, it’s common (and not a problem) for a small portion of your temporary filling or crown to wear away or break off. If the entire filling falls out, or if a temporary crown comes off, please call our office so it can be replaced.
Bridges
When damages to a tooth are extensive, it should be restored with a crown or also known as a cap. Crowns can be made from metals such as gold, palladium, and titanium; or from porcelain or plastic polymers. A fixed bridge is made from two or more crowns attached together to support and fill the space created from missing or extracted teeth. During the preparation for a crown the defective structure of a tooth will be removed to make room for the crown materials. Then an accurate mold will be taken and sent to the dental laboratory to fabricate the final crown. A second appointment is required to cement the crown permanently.

Root Canal Treatment
It is normal to feel some tenderness in the area over the next few days after a root canal as your body undergoes the natural healing process. You may also feel some tenderness in your jaw and corners of your mouth from keeping it open for an extended period of time. These symptoms are temporary and usually respond very well to over-the-counter pain medications. It is important for you to follow the instructions on how to take these medications. Remember that narcotic medications, if prescribed, may make you drowsy, and caution should be exercised in operating dangerous machinery or driving a car after taking them. You may be prescribed antibiotics. Avoid chewing on that side till the final retoration has been placed.
