Barkzone Pet Salon

Had a great experience so far with my grooms at the Barkzone Pet Salon store on State Street. I worked the groomer named Myra whom did a great job on my golden Doodle. Friendly and nice service and I will be back.

Not a very clean place, to put it mildly. Janell, their key groomer, is quite careless and unskilled. I regret about going there.

Took my Pomeranian to the Lake Oswego Barkzone. I wanted the full bath, the price list shows $20.00 for small dogs, plus $5.00 for extra brushing. When I picked her up I was charged $45.00, this is the price for a full groom. When I questioned it, I was told the extra price was for the extra brushing. The groomer said I did a good job on her at home, she had no matted hair and was brushed often. I think $25.00 is way too much extra for a long haired dog. I won't be returning to this shop. If you go you need to check on the price before turning your dog over for a bath. Don't go by the posted price list in the shop, they charge whatever they want.

Two stars because they did a good job on her coat and she looked very good.
