Very nice people, always friendly, always let you know what needs to be done and the probable cost. and if they can't repair it they refer you to someone who can. Don't find that to often these days. During my last visit the had some equipment problems, they were very sorry and felt they let the customers down. Hard to find that kind of service these days.

Great service and fast too - Came in around 11:15 with the cover on the underside of my car falling down. They fixed it and had me back at work by 12:00. Great Job!

Great service and they did exactly what they said they would do. Only One very small issue of getting a call back when thy said they would. But that's it. Would not hesitate using and trusting these guys

In my job capacity, I am keenly aware of the importance of a professional. There are times where I value professionalism higher than anything else. A professional attitude will drive job performance to a higher level. I am always appreciative of the professionalism of the staff at La Car Porte. That professionalism does indeed bring the level of service at La Car Porte to a very high level. Kudos for resolving what could have become a major problem in the near future.

Called that morning to see if we could get the car in that day, they let us bring it right over. The service technician was very good at evaluating the problem and got the car fixed the same day and the work done looked great. I will definitely come back.

I just took my car in 2 days a...

I just took my car in 2 days ago because it had been overheating. They were extremely friendly when I walked in! I told them what was going on with the car and they told me the tests they would run on it & after that was finished they'd call me and tell me what was wrong & if my warranty would cover it.

However.. They didn't call me to tell me what was going on. I had to call 2-3 times. The first time I called I asked what was wrong they told me, said they were trying to get a hold of my warranty company... Next day I call again because they still haven't called back confirming if they were going to work on it or not. Called and he told me my warranty wouldn’t cover it and went on to tell me it was The Serpentine Belt & Idler Pull that was broken . So I asked him how much he said about $600. I was freaking out!

I then called my warranty company just to see if they was blowing smoke up my rear end and sure enough the company didn’t cover it, HOWEVER they did tell me that they had a denied claim for an amount of only $340! I was ticked that he had tried to charge me $600 for something he claimed for only $340.

At this point I was very angry. I then went to pick up my car and they showed me & my boyfriend a diagram of what was broke and where it was. I didn’t feel like he was being extremely rude but compared to the first visit you could tell an attitude.

We then took the car and had it looked at by another mechanic. The Idler pull & Serpentine belt was NOT broken. All it was was 2 little elbows underneath the Idler pull that was leaking coolant. The elbows at O’reilly’s are 3.99 each. I will NEVER go back to La Car Porte. I saved about $590 by having a second opinion.
