Just moved to the area and went out looking for a top notch shop. I know I found one with La Car Porte. They were professional and polite. Left my truck for just an oil change, they called me saying they suggested a new air filter also. the price was fair and no pressure was put on me. I feel the are a very fair and honest business. The Ford dealership was going to charge me $175 to change my oil, rotate my tires, check the alignment and properly "inspect" everything else for a 15,000 mile check-up where these guys did it all for $90. John was upfront with me about the price, offered to take me to work and pick me up when car was done. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I will be recommending all my single female friends to La Car Porte so they dont get ripped off like I almost did!

Got a oil change and rear shocks replace. It was a good experience and the employees were very professional.

Everyone was friendly. I popped in with a "check engine" light on. They quickly diagnosed the problem, offered a possible cheaper solution and a more expensive but definite solution. I chose the cheaper possible solution and it seems to have worked. They provided me with a ride home so I could keep another appointment I had while they fixed the problem. Overall a pleasant experience with problem solved.
