Save yourself a great deal of heartache and money and call someone else. Will not return calls and doesn't complete the job in anywhere near a reasonable amount of time. Very frustrating company to do business with.

Horrible business! I warn everyone to avoid at all cost. We hired them over a year ago to cut down a tree for us and remove the stump, per Sam's request he asked to be paid up front. He still has not removed the stump or refunded the money, always a new excuse or sad story. He will not return calls and will not take our calls.Our next step is suing, over trying to get a response! We filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and Sam could not even respond their repeated attempts, you can verify on their website under complaints! If you are unfortunate enough to hire this company DO NOT pay up front, he will not complete work. I give the negative 10 stars

Wonderful Service! On Friday night they lived up to Emergency service And they called my insurance company. Couldn't have asked for more. A Big thanks to Sam and his crew.

I hired them to cut down a tree in my backyard. I was told what would be completed, Sam and I shook hands and they did a good job with the tree. He came back to clean-up the yard, received the remainder of his money with the understanding that they would put fence back as it was and cut up the tree into wood burning pieces. NEITHER of the last 2 were completed. I had to put back up my fence and I will now have to cut up the wood as well. The removal part I have no issue with but what they didn't complete is what was agreed upon. I left Sam a couple of messages, never heard from him at all. Very disappointed in that. He states he is a man of his word but now I wonder.

Fabulous job on my white oak (loved this tree) but it was dying. So appreciate all you did for us and doing our insurance after the storm.

THANK YOU! Great job on my 2 large trees. I will recommend you!! Stillcan't believe anyone can climb trees that big. This is my grandmother's house so those trees were at least 50 years old and have been mostly dead for the past 2 years.

I live in Nora's Path Hardin Valley area and have a very steep back yard with large trees in the steep area. You and your crew have to be commended for not only cutting the trees down but to do so without any damage. My neighbors are as happy as I am that these trees are gone (since most of them were dead and could have fallen at any time). Thanks again for all your hard work and expertise.

Tree preservation instead of wanting to just cut my trees down your company treated and trimmed them...I only have 5 trees in my yard and you were able to save 4 of them. They took down my 3 foot around maple tree in 1 day! No damage to my fence or house even though the tree was only 6 ft from the house. Awesome, awesome job!!

Appalachian worked for me 8 years ago and I was so glad to find their phone number again. They took down a large tree that fell on my fence from a recent storm and were able to save one of my favorite trees. Great, knowledge in their field. Thanks again guys! I will be calling you again.

I have read several of the reviews posted but I have to say Appalachian Trees really gets the job done...these guys really know what they are doing and saved my house from a 45 foot maple tree that was dying in the top. Thank you so much for the great job and cleaning up.
