Dog's Day Inn Pet Resort

We left my dog with these people for a week while we went on a cruise. Never again. We left our Husky with her two best Corgi friends in order to make us going away for a week more easier. We gave Dogs Day Inn what we deemed pretty reasonable instructions to ONLY separate our husky from the corgis when feeding, as our dogs have food territory issues. They agreed to do it our way and only separate during feedings. We come pick them up to find that our husky has been separated the ENTIRE WEEK by herself. They then try and pass it off as being OUR fault for not being clear enough about it and On top of that tried to charge us for the extra kennel that they shoved our dog into. So for all three dogs they tried to charge us over $600, instead of the agreed price of closer to $375 for supposed Kennel Sharing. After getting my dog back (Still wet from her "bath", and never explaining any of the things that happened under that roof to her) she came to us shaking, ears down not wanting to be held (she now growls at us if we try and hold her, something she has NEVER EVER done before.) They tell us goodbye and then we bring up the fact that we do not have our leashes or collars. It took them 15-20 minuets to look around the entire facility to find them, Finding the collars was not a priority to them as they had several other people come in and they gave much better service to them talking about how well behaved the other peoples dogs were. When they eventually did find them we did not even get a goodbye out of them. Now we are at home trying to undo the bad experience that Dogs Day Inn gave our dog. She used to be so incredibly social and now i'm scared i'm never going to get that back from my dog.


If there was a way to rate this as a 0, I would have. Terrible place, terrible people who obviously do not care one ounce for these dogs and are only doing it because its "just a job." Do not ever entrust your dogs to these people.

Horrible management, rude/unprofessional front staff. Toxic environment. They will slander and gossip about anyone and everyone(including customers). Take your dogs elsewhere.

Took my two mini Aussiedoodles for temperament evaluation at 9:30 am last Wednesday. Gave them their food , toys and a chew bone as I was told they would be tested at 11 am so at least they could have their toys until then .
I was told they could play after their testing so I didn’t pick them up till 3 pm.
I went upstairs where they were in a kennel NO food, toys , chew bone or even a bed !
I asked the girl why wasn’t their cot bed in there and their stuff and why the tv wasn’t on? I noticed the cot bed laid up against the hallway wall and their bag with their stuff on a shelf , I asked again why didn’t they have their belongings, I don’t know she said , we had 130 dogs today and all we’ve been able to do is just potty breaks for all the digs . My dogs met with one dog for 5 minutes and were locked up in the little room the whole time they were there .
No excuse for this and no explanation for not feeding my dogs giving them their toys or a bed except we are to busy. The TV’s along that back wall room she said have been broke a while so my dogs had Nothing!

I've had my dog groomed at Dogs Day for the past 9 years. They worked with me when he was a puppy to get him use to being groomed. He is much better now and seems to like it. They keep my instructions on file and go over it each time and get a phone number update. My dog looks great and his behavior is good when I pick him up. I get a call once he is ready. The times I call them is usually when the have a full schedule of Dogs to groom and are not finished with my dog. I don't have a problem checking in with before I get a call and they don't seem to mind either.
Sorry about the bad reviews. I've been pleased or would have gone elsewhere. The new location and resort are great and I recommend them.

MY PET COMES HERE FOR DOGGIE DAYCARE TUES-THURDAYS. THE STAFF IS ALWAYS FREINDLY AND MY DOG LOVES TO COME EACH WEEK. MY PET ALWAYS COME BACK HAPPY!!.

We brought our dog here for a clean and trim. When we dropped him off the staff was very friendly. We left our phone number with them and said they would call when he was ready. After about 4 hrs we decided to call and check in. The girl on the phone was very rude and lied to me. Said she called me and said I was going to pick him up hours ago. I never received a call from them. I double checked the number with them to make sure it was correct and it was. I am very reasonable and can understand an honest mistake, but lying and being rude at the same time is uncalled for, especially in customer service. When I arrived to pick up my pup the hispanic girl with tattoos at the front counter was the same girl i spoke to on the phone. She was rude at the counter as well and just seemed like she hated her life. I was very friendly and tried to cheer her up but service like that deserves a review. Dog was clean and well groomed, but service was terrible. They need a new clerk. Could be a 5 star
