North Texas Veterinary Clinic

My experience with this vet could not be any worse and if I were able to leave no stars I would. While driving to an appointment across town yesterday I witnessed a car hit a dog and keep going. I immediately stopped and picked up the injured dog. If was bleeding from several large cuts as well as the nose and mouth. The only tag on its collar was a vaccine tag with this vets office name on it. I drove it here so that they would hopefully be able to find the owner and care for the very injured animal. What was so disappointing about there service was that they were hesitant to take the dog and also didn't seem that worried even though they said they thought they recognized her immediately. Along with that they were very dismissive to me when I asked if they could just let me know if the dog was okay if I called. They said due to privacy issues they could tell me nothing. I can understand privacy issues completely but letting a person know if an animal lived or not is not a violation. A simple "unfortunately it didn't" or "yes it is doing okay" was all I was asking for, not the owners address, considering I had seen it in such poor shape. I was hoping to care for the dog if the owners were not found so that it would not have to be euthanized for no reason. Due to this very poor interaction I would caution you to find a more compassionate veterinarian. I have an amazing vet in Saginaw that is worth the drive and actually shows compassion and love for the animals they encounter.

Absolutely the best! Dr James and his staff go above and beyond to care for your pet. I have a West Highland Terrier with allergies. Dr James and his staff are so kind, patient, caring and knowledgeable. He has helped my little furkid so very much with his approach to treating his itchy skin. I can't say enough great things about their office! Ten stars!!!��������

I have had the pleasure of taking my family/friends to this clinic. Dr James and his team treat them as if they were their own. Sadly my cat didn't make it. However any time I need them, for my rather large family, they are always ready to get me right in and make sure I understand everything they think is going on with my pet. I see Dr James and his team as holistic healers...they don't just treat the symptoms and they do all they can to make sure your fuzzy pal is healthy and happy.

This is the best veterinary clinic in the metroplex. Hands down. And it is filled with the best doctor and staff you could ask for. Dr. James is awesome. He and his staff genuinely care about the well being of your pet. They take the time to talk, explain, and help. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats and I will NEVER take my animals anywhere else.

Having four dogs and a cat we have seen plenty of vets. I had already made up my mind that vets were like most doctors. Meaning their main focus was on money,unnecessary tests, etc. My opinion has changed with Dr. James. He seems to be more focused on customer service and pet care. We have had quite a few minor emergencies that in the past would have run up quite a tab. This clinic has done an awesome job providing top notch care at affordable cost.

All of the review below seem to sum up our thoughts on NTVC with the exception of the negative review from the "bleach situation" lady. Dr James and staff are ALWAYS willing to do whatever it takes to help all of our animals (4 dogs and 1 cat), plus any rescue pets I stumble across needing help. Dr James and his wife actually saved my dog Vinny's life last July. I called them AFTER HOURS and they arrived at the clinic within 15 minutes and LITERALLY saved my sweet dog! The cost for services at this clinic is usually much less than any vet I have ever used. We feel so blessed to have such an amazing clinic within a mile from our house. Even if we moved 100 miles away we would STILL commute to this vet just so our pets could get the BEST care and attention. And lastly, if this clinic was ALL about money, DR. James would not spend 20-30 minutes getting to know each and every pet that comes to the clinic.....Our entire neighborhood has switched to this clinic and we all tell everyone we meet how amazing this vet and staff are~Thank you!

Dr. James is the best veterinarian I've ever been to. And I've been to several. I have 2 mini schnauzers, a labradoodle, a lab, and several cats. He is wonderful with all of them. He takes his time listening to my concerns and answering questions and he never tries to get money out of me for no reason. Every time I've called the clinic to ask him a question, he calls me back within a few hours. I truly believe he cares about my pet's well-being, and mine as well. And for that, I could not ask for more. Thank you Dr. James and staff! Ya'll are great!

My puppy ingested bleach and I took her to North Texas Vet Clinic. I told them what happened to my puppy and that this is an emergency! My puppy was foaming at the mouth. I waited 50 min for the doctor to see me. I was told appointments come before an emergemcy. DO NOT USE this vet clinic. They do not care about your pets! They only care about money!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR. JAMES! We had lost our family dog of 10 years recently while under the care of a different vet in the area on Denton Hwy-I never felt that this other vet was very helpful or sympathetic about it-the prices were always very high, especially when I felt it was not very good care. So, when our new puppy suddenly got sick, we needed a new vet. After reading reviews, I called Dr. James and was pleased that I could bring her in within the hour! Everyone there was very caring and helpful. I expressed my financial concerns, and Dr. James prepared a detailed pricing estimate (which was very reasonable yet comprehensive) for my puppy's care and assured me he wouldn't do anything without checking with me first. My baby was very sick and needed to stay there almost 5 days on fluids and antibiotics. Part of this time was over the weekend, and Dr. James would go up and check on her and call from his office to let us know how she was doing. He called several times a day over the course of her treatment with an update on her situation. He seemed genuinely concerned and gave detailed explanations...he even mentioned that, when she still wouldn't eat, he finally got her to try some food by feeding her out of his hand...a personal touch that let me know everything would turn out fine. Fiona is now home and happy, and I am so grateful to Dr. James and his staff. Very professional, clean office, caring staff, reasonable prices WITH THOROUGH CARE.

Dr. James was amazingly patient with our dog and us! Our dog needed to have several things done in order to maintain his health. Dr. James was direct and knowledgeable about these things and we felt confident taking his advice. We were a little wary of what the prices would be after we dicussed the things that needed to be done. We shouldn't have worried at all! Considering the amount of issues our boxer had the price was VERY reasonable. We are glad that our boxer will now be able to get the quality care he needs because the price was fair and not inflated.

Good Job North Texas Vet Clinic! You deserve 5 stars for the excellent service you provide! Such friendly people. And Christians!! Whoo hoo! I could not ask for more. Thank you for taking care of my furry baby :)

By far the best vet clinic I've been to in this area. I am a college student with 2 Great Danes. They are a hand full and require special attention. Dr. James did a fantastic job making me feel at ease and my dogs just loved him! The prices are fair, the clinic is new and clean, and the equipment is all up to date and very impressive. The xrays took only minutes. I was very pleased, and will be using this clinic again and again!

Absolutely, without a doubt, the most caring veterinarian I've ever done business with!! He went above and beyond to help me and my family with our animals. I am just so happy to know there are still good people out there who aren't just trying to make a dollar, and truly care about peope's financial situations and the well-being of their animals.
