Lulu's Thai Noodle Shop

When we went in the lighting in the restaurant was very dark. We had to use our phone lights to read the menus. They did turn up the lights when we asked them to however. It was just odd they made it seem like they wanted us to take a nap instead of eating. Our waitress was very nice. The food was sub par. My wonton noodle soup broth had no flavor. It was kind of expensive for the experience as well but oh well. I'll just go to Vietnam cafe from now on.

I will never eat there again my stomachs been in knots since I left!

I have never been so insulted as i was right now at Lula's. I ordered a to go order and it was wrong so they told me to come back to get the right order. When i get there the manager or who ever this person was goes onto to tell me that he can not give me my order due to a list of people that they have that always makes complaints or something to that effect. I was like excuse me what are you talking about??? He said they went off my first name not first and last name but first name only and the first 3 digits of my phone number this is how they determined it was me. I have never ever made any complaints about anything the 3 times I have been there in the past. I really like their food. Oh and also he told me this came down from the owner's mouth........I am looking at him like is this some kind of a joke!! I have never heard of any restaurant ever doing that to someone and especially when I have never made a complaint about anything but bragged to other people about their food. In fact I just told some of my family to go there. So needless to say they got my money and I have the wrong order and I am on a "do not serve hit list" . So be careful for those of you who might have an issue of any kind for some reason if you go there. I would not want to make that list either!!!!! The girl that took my order admitted she messed it up and was very apologetic to me when I went back to get my correct order. I am a Hispanic female and I am really starting to believe this was discrimination act towards me. Really.....am I the only Angela with the first 3 cell numbers starting with 504....apparently according to THE LIST!!

Well I did up getting my Thai food for dinner because alot of my friends told me to go to the Thai Place in Westport and it was awesome and environment was great. Oh and guess what they have never evern heard of such a list......yes I had to tell them about......HA!!

I recently took a friend to Lulu's. This friend and I see each other a couple of times a year-- always over a meal. I'm not exaggerating to say that she always has some problem with whatever restaurant we end up at. This has been going on for about 20 years. (She has a history in high-end food service, so I guess she knows what to look for) So, each time I dread picking the place to take her to. This time, I took her to Lulu's.



She loved it. No problems, at all. A first!



I go to Lulu's about once a month, and wish I could eat there every day. And I love the new, bigger location. Beautiful!
