Fusion Buffet

I paid a visit to restaurant 1/28/17 I will never step foot in that place again. they have all you can eat all u crab legs, u know how legs have 4-5 per half they cut them up where you get one at a time putting out 10 to 12 legs at a time, they were upset I ate so many constantly looking at my table rolling their eyes each time I went up for crab legs I had to ask because there were none out then they got to where they start put them out ice cold stating the water will heat them. Adding lots of salt on purpose so they will not be edible they were looking for tip I left none they were very rude never again don't advertise all you can eat if that's not the case... sushi bar raw fish sitting at room temperature nasty dirty place won't go back

Food is good but the hospitality is hostile. They will keep on ask tip for Buffet too. Even owner support them. No proper cleanliness. This is worst place I have ever experienced in kansas city.

Food was sub par there was dirty silverware left on the table from the last customers. Black mold growing on the walls and the waitress who only showed up to drop off our bill had the gall to tell me I needed to tip her then started screaming at some guy when I refused (after all she hadnt been to our table once until she dropped off the check). This place is ridiculous!

Have had great food here, little pricy but if you get the buffet to go for lunch its worth it, large box to fill and a soup cup, soup is usually pretty good but some days the selection is a little wanting. So far havent had a bad experience and have been going since they opened, just be aware that it can be pricey depending on what time you go

I don't get the drama queens who act like Fusion is HORRIBLE. If you're that much of a food snob go back to the Plaza and drop $30 a plate for a string bean and sliver of meat. This place is a BUFFET. It's, like, $12 a head. It's got amazing variety and the food is pretty good overall.

I have read the reviews on this buffet and cant believe anyone on the face of this earth found this food anyway satisfying. What are people thinking did you really eat there? This has to be the worst buffet if not in Kansas City the whole country. If you know whats good for you… STAY AWAY YOUR LIFE MAY DEPEND ON IT.

Finally the Casinos have a Rival for Fine food prepared Well. Especially Expensive Items are abundant Here, From tons of crawfish to delicious tasteful Talapia and varieties of Sushi not experienced in the Casinos. So much variety of dishes it take two visits. Even the ice creams are flavors not seen elsewhere.The fine Ethnic staff are charming, can Fusion continue too ask such low prices for this heaven?

I found that the interior was very nice and the service was nicer. The food was really cheap and yummy. I must say, I have been waiting for this buffet to open for quite some time and am finally glad they did. They have a sushi bar, hibachi station, and a huge variety of food, it was crazy. The price was really good and they even had crab legs. I have never seen a better Chinese buffet in the area (I've been to several), and that is not a hyperbole.

Fusion Buffet is great place to eat chinese buffet here. hibachi sushi and all kind of chinese food you can find here, they have the best performance for chinese buffet in this area. it is a best place for family and party. also it is grand opening restaurant, any way it is my favor place to eat chinese buffet so far!!!

The "food" had obviously been sitting there, barely rotated, and rotting for days. Some of it looked editable. My daughter and I tried it. She stuck to things that appeared safe. She tried some dry white rice, fried chicken with goo, toast (at an asian restaurant?) and a hard doughnut. She has been vomiting all night. I had a bite of a clam that was rotten, a bite of a fried "spring roll", also rotten and a few other tidbits. So far I'm not throwing up but I really have no doubt it was the food that made her ill. The KCMO health department needs to intervene pronto.

I am an avid chinese buffet connoisseur. I came into this establishment with high optimism about Fusion Buffet but left utterly quesy and disappointed. The restaurant's interior looks nice, as all restaurants that have grand opened do. I went there for dinner at around 6:00 on a saturday. I was promptly seated at one of the tables. It was a pretty sparse crowd; there couldn't have been more than 6 or 7 tables there. As I perused the vast selections of their offerings, my heart sank when I saw their food. They looked unappealing and unappetizing. All of their offerings looked like they had been recycled and reheated from yesterday. Hoping for the best, I piled my plate high with their dubious selections and hoped for the best . Boy, was that the biggest mistake of my life. Everything tasted the same: like cardboard soaked in globs and globs of MSG and salt. The beef from the beef broccoli was paper thin and was tough like rubber. The general's chicken was barely edible because it was gristly and not prepped properly. The sushis were tough and not fresh. It was like they made them weeks in advance. The seafood tasted rancid like they had been left out in the sun for days. I think the only item I liked from the buffet here was the fortune cookie that I got with my bill ($14 down the drain!). You sure as heck can't screw that up! All in all, it was an awful experience for me and I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Stay far, far away! You have been warned.
