54th Street Scratch Grill & Bar

My husband and I went to this location last evening and was first to have our name put on the wait list for a booth in dining area, a family came in about 3 min. later and checked out the outside deck area but decided they did not want out there so was put on waiting list. A booth was cleaned off about 10 to 12 min. after we arrived and they never called anyone up so I went to counter and 2 people plus manager was standing there and I said I see u have a booth available and the manager said yes I told them, so I am figuring they will let us sit but no they took the family that was after us--so I ask why and they was speechless and finally said I don't know. Hey they are the one with the waiting list. So I ask to talk to the manager and lo and behold it was the one that had said I told them--so I ask him what happened here and he threw them under the bus saying I told them instead of taking the blame for what he had them to do. (I do believe.) I agree my husband and I are in our 70's but we do not deserve to be treated that way. This is one of our favorite places to eat but will never step foot in this place again. We take our grown children, grandchildren and other family members to here often but never again. U ignored us like we did not matter but we do. As retirees we probably put more money into your place than the family that u stiffed us for. Well good luck and yes I will tell everyone I know how we were treated.

Great place to eat. Kinda pricey though.

I will never eat there again. I have been there a few times and everything i ordered i didn't like. Low quality food at a high price. Not worth it at all.
