Eaglin Family Dentistry

I would not give this dentist even one star, but it would not let me leave the rating system blank! I would not recommend this dentist to anyone! I took my son in for a routine cleaning which was overprices at $169.00, which was covered by insurance. Usually, I pay $116.00 for a cleaning which I take my son in every 6 months. After having the staff inform me that I had great insurance, they proceeded to tell me that my son had 13 cavities and needed 4 wisdom teeth removed! My son had been seen six months ago by Dr. John Kendricks and I was informed that he needed the 4 wisdom teeth removed but at that time there were no cavities. I was pressured by Eaglin to go ahead and get all of the cavities filled because my insurance would cover it. I felt uncomfortable and went to see another dentist in the area, Dr. Ricard. He redid the xrays and informed me that my son only had one cavity and that he did need the 4 wisdom teeth removed that was it! He did not have 13 cavities. When my son who is 18 requested a copy of his x-rays he was treated very poorly by the staff. We had to have Dr. Ricard's office contact them to get the x-ray which were not visible and resulted in Dr. Ricard redoing the x-ray (which he did not charge me for). I will never return to this dentist and will tell everyone that I know not to go to this dentist. I am also going to report this dentist to my insurance carrier.



PLEASE TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW NOT TO GO TO THIS DENTIST, THEY TELL YOU THAT YOU NEED WORK DONE THAT YOU DO NOT NEED!!!!!!!!!!!!!
