I took my car to CTR because there was a loud noise coming from the engine. I called and explained what was going on and the lady said they could get my car in at 10:30. I asked how much it would cost and was told they charge $39 for a half hour of labor and assuming it would cost more to fix, that money would apply towards the fix. I showed up at 10:25 and the lady told me the mechanic had to run to Menards and he would be right back. I took a seat and waited. The mechanic finally showed up at 10:45. He looked at my car and instantly diagnosed the problem to be the A/C compressor. He unhooked the belt which fixed the problem. The whole diagnosis and fix took less than 10 minutes.

I'm very satisfied that the mechanic was able to diagnose and fix my car so quickly, but I'm also upset that I had to wait around for 20 minutes while he was shopping at Menards. That is not very professional on his part and they didn't even apologize because I had to sit around waiting for him to return. Not to mention I was charged for a full half hour when in reality it took less than 10 minutes.
