Espeto Brazilian Steak House

Authentic, family run and WOW! amazing food! Beautiful outside scenery, great inside atmosphere. Highly recommend!

While the setting is nice... lovely atmosphere, enjoyable waterfront view... the food itself left something to be desired. Our evening started out nicely enough... the serving staff friendly, the decor elegant, and the salad bar excellent, it did not bear out through dinner. From the first serving of the meat, we suspected that our expectations would fall short. The chicken wrapped in bacon was so highly seasoned with salt as to be almost unpalatable. And that assessment continued through every course brought by the courteous gaucho. The quality of the meat cuts, I have to admit, were not of the caliber of the last Brazilian steakhouse that we enjoyed, but it was the saltiness that was its ruin. Being connoisseurs of fine dining, we have found over the years, that the downfall to many restaurants is the chef's inability to detect the saltiness of the food being prepared. Being overly-exposed to it, their sense dulls and the food only seems to have true "flavor", in their opinion, with too generous an amount. I suspect such may have been the case here. Even with the nicer cuts of meat, we couldn't enjoy the meal because of it. We shook our heads with the realization that "this place isn't going to make it". Not surprisingly, we were the only diners present. We were quite disappointed that we wouldn't have an excellent churrascaria, closer to home, to enjoy as we have in Orlando. Sadly, we will not be back.

Wonderful culinary experience. The service was courteous and professional. The food was cooked perfectly with a great variety.
