Nestled in a cottage by the sea, Seaside Playgarden has been guiding the heads, hearts, and hands of children for over 20 years. What began as a vibrant neighborhood playgroup in 1995, created by parents who wished to offer their young children an early childhood educational setting inspired by the Waldorf Education model, has blossomed into a unique and loving preschool community. Neighborhood walks to the beach, climbing trees, bread baking, watercolor painting, coloring with beeswax crayons, organic gardening and more are all part of our daily rhythm. In addition to our beautiful cottage programs, we also are excited to offer the first forest program in the southeast USA, where children spend the entire day outdoors in the forest exploring and learning the way nature intended. Our schedule includes 2, 3, and 5 day programs for children ages 2 1/2 and up, as well as Parent & Child classes for the little ones and their caregivers.
