Carmel Creek Apartments

They are called Villa Del Sol now. The truth is their apartments are very nice inside. remodeled. The best part is paid gas heat and dishwasher and all brand new appliances. Just pray your neighbors are not ghetto and noisy playing music between 11-5:30 am or fighting with their guest they bring over. Some but not all tenants don't clean up their dog poo even tho they know their is a fee for breaking that rule. Forget the short cut thru the grass because of that. The company charged me a late fee when I paid my rent 2 days early with a post dated check.I didn't know that wasn't allowed when I had done that with no issues last month.... Sometimes the staff can frustrate me when they are not thorough about the do's and do nots about taking rental payments. They won't automatically give you a receipt unless you ASK for it!!

Very profoundly poor in timeliness with correcting maintenance in apartments. This problem is across the board in all areas. There is no mechanism to track maintenance request leaving a tenant in the dark when it comes to verifying a problem. Maintenance work is 'shabby', no clean up, repeat work for the same job, and just unprofessional work. Tenants pay $700 + dollars for terrible management in this complex. Suggest a review from within to try and curtail this problem. Give a tenant some type of assurance that a job # is assigned to computer generated form for tracking maintenance request. A quality control review after jobs are completed, by Management Staff should be done periodically to ascertain quality assurance. Nevertheless, something surely needs to change for the better.

I have been living in Carmel Creek apartments since November of last year, and I can say that the apartments have some problems, but what place doesn't. The apartments were built in 1963 so you should expect some things to be wrong. Yes I have had some problems, but maintenance comes to fix it, but I can say that management Richard, Kim,& Tammie do try their best to keep this place running as best as they can. And I appreciate that.

Clean apartments great office staff very friendly. Maintenance guys are outgoing and polite. Management is very concerned about tennants and wants to make sure that everyone is treated very well. I have had no issues with bugs, crime or anything else since I have been here.

This apartment complex was one of the worst places you could every live. This place deserves no stars at all, I moved out of my apartment at the beginning of the year it is now July and still have not recieved my deposit back. I also experienced a lot of unexpected issues as unwanted bugs, coming home and my ceiling was leaking, hot foamy white water coming from my kitchen sink it was horrible needless to say never recommend this place.

I dont give this apt. complex any star rating. This is one of the worst places anyone could live. Board of Health has been out there several times in 2009 alone. Water leaks, mold, infestation of bugs, high crime area. Loud music, people changing their oil everywhere, garbage bins filled mile high, Maintenance requests are never handled in a timely manner. Management is worse, charging residents utilities based on unit consumption and paying Las Palmas for the utilities, so they can charge whatever they feel like charging, the option to pay the provider of the utilities is not an option.I would not recommend putting an animal in these living conditions. This place needs to be condemend.
