Renfroe Animal Hospital & Bird Clinic

Contrary to the first review that was left here, I have been using Dr. Renfroe for over the last 20 years. He and his staff (who are dynamite and loving to all my animals, real professionals) have taken care of all my menagerie of animals, dogs and cats. I have recommended him to family and friends with excellent results. Bill Renfroe has helped me through sad times and good times. My little American eskimo spitz is groomed by them every three weeks with excellent results. I count on Renfroe's Animal Hospital with the health and happiness of my beloved pets. He is the best, by far!

Please don't take your animal here for grooming. A friends animal was taken here for grooming. When it was picked up, their was cuts and numerous places on it where it was shaved all the way to the skin, leaving it red and inflammed. The owner called and talked to the vet. It was denied and every excuse in the book used to try and justify the animal being abused. He never offered to treat the animal for what his groomer had done, nor did he offer a simply "Sorry". The animal was taken to another vet who was appalled at what he saw. The animal had to be put on antibiotic and predisone to try and prevent any infections. After speaking with the vet who caused the damage and informing them she wanted her animals records. She was told she could pick them up later that day. When the records was picked up comments had been just added to them. The handwriting wasn't the same, different colored ink, and you could tell certain comments was newer than others. Would never want an animal taken here.
