Point Breeze Credit Union

I've been a member of Point Breeze Credit Union for 27 years. I've taken out many loans and bought several cars through them. I got injured at work in February of this year and was out of work for 6 months. My workmans comp checks were not coming in as scheduled. I fell behind in all of my bills including my Point Breeze accounts. I explained what happened to me but they didn't seem to care. They blocked my credit card after I paid what was passed due. They said because I was 90 days late. They blocked my card for 6 months. Then I would have to reapply for my card all over again. I've had the card for 11 years without a problem. The problem is that Point Breeze is larger than it use to be. It's also getting very greedy with its fees and rules. They say that credit unions sre better than banks. But with this credit union I'm not so sure. I've had problems with them the past couple of years. Seems like they only want certain members. It's sometimes blatantly seen. After 27 years with them I will no longer be depositing my money there.
