I bought a Janome 9850. the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable Joseph was very helpful thank you i will be back for all my sewing needs.

I've purchased yet another sewing machine at the 249 store and I absolutely cannot recommend them enough. If you are in the market for a new machine, or if you need accessories or service, you should absolutely stop into the store. The staff is fantastic and so willing to help. The machine tech manager, Paul, is great. I had a couple of problems with my larger Janome machine and he has always been so quick to have a look at my machine and get the issue resolved so I could get bak to sewing ASAP. Joseph, Lauren and Brenda are top-notch and great to work with! I love that I can always pop in with a question or if I need any tech help!

Came here to look at the Janome line. Brenda assisted me - and she did precisely that: assist. She showed me different models, the variations between them and guided me towards a machine that would truly meet my needs. No time was spared as she explained features to me, along with maintenance and upkeep. I told her I wanted to think about it (actually, I wanted to go home and do some research on reviews of this particular Janome model); she also informed me that they only had the floor model in stock, but if I wanted an in-the-box one, she'd contact the Conroe store and have it moved over to them for pick up if they had one in stock.

Within an hour, I did receive a voice mail from Brenda that the Conroe store had a brand new one in the box. I called her back after doing my research -- YES! Bring it down to this location and I'll come pick it up.

When I did go in to pay for/pick the machine up, no time was spared with my initial questions. Yes, I know I get a free one-hour lesson, but I needed to know basics: how to thread it, how to wind the bobbin, how to change the presser feet, how to select stitches, how to use the buttonhole attachment. Got all of that and more!

Excellent experience - and trust me, I will be back! I am very impressed with the knowledge and assistance provided here - and so far I am having a lot of fun with my new Janome machine.

I went to Sewing and Vacuum Warehouse completely new to embroidery. Pam answered all of my questions and helped me picked out all of the necessary supplies to get me started. I never felt pushed to make a purchase, but they made sure I had all the supplies I needed to complete my embroidery projects that I had in mind when purchasing the machine. I will definitely be returning for all my sewing and embroidery needs.

Finding this place was an absolute blessing! I went in not knowing too much about sewing machines but Pam guided me the entire way though she even gave me a few tips and future references. I bought my Janome M7200 as an open box and it was basically 1/2 price and does so much! Thank you for your wonderful help. Will definitely be returning

I went to Sewing & Vacuum Warehouse to take my cheap Walmart sewing machine in because it wasn't working correctly. I've been wanting a new machine for quite some time because my hobby is quilting. I spoke with Lauren about my old machine and what was wrong with it. She told me they could do work on it. I told her I was interested in maybe a new machine since mine didn't work so well for my hobby. She asked me what I wanted out of a machine. She was super knowledgeable about what each machine did,price and stock. She took great care of me and I walked out with the best machine for my needs and proceeded range. There was no hard selling. I left my old machine to be worked on and I am sure it is in good hands. If you are in the market for a sewing machine go here!

I am new to embroidery and had a lot of questions. The peope at the Sewing & Vacuum Warehouse, especially Lauren, were incredibly helpful. No question was too small. They let me take my time trying out machines. No one tried to upsell me on a product, which cannot be said for other places I have been. Not only did they have a great selection of machines, the fabric choices were AMAZING! This was a wonderful experience. I will definitely be back!

I didn't know how to sew, but with these machines that can auto thread and cut. I made my mind up to learn. I just purchased my first sewing machine at the Sewing & Vacuum Warehouse during the covid and was very impressed by the customer service and the many choices of machines. They even beat other online retailers prices. Please support this local Houston businesses.

This is a hidden gem! I purchased a new Janome yesterday and Pam was amazing - so patient and helpful. Everyone in the store made me feel welcome and went above and beyond to ensure that I was thrilled with my selection. Now that I have found them just off of 249 north of FM 1960 I will be a regular!

I really enjoyed shopping for a new machine and also shopping and browsing the store for accessories. I found a very good sewing and embroidery machine at a great price. And I like that there are classes there to help with my new purchase. The service is friendly and very knowledgeable.

The first time I found Sewing and Vacuum Warehouse, I was emotionally drained. After a taxing military move, I found the movers had broken my vacuum. It was the straw that broke the camel’s back for me. I know it was the owner that helped me. He was kind and understanding. I walked in with tears and out with a nice new vacuum and new perspective.

I had been in since. My great aunt, who taught me to sew, gifted me all her sewing things. They helped me sort it all out.

This last time, my husband took me in before Christmas. I did not want to go because I was going to see all the things I wanted but could not afford to have. Justin helped my husband. He was just the right person too. I ended up with my dream craft room and a no interest payment plan to boot.

Going to this store is so much fun. The employees are always upbeat and helpful, the material is beautiful, the machines are fantastic and they have all the supplies and accessories that go with them. To top that off they have classes and clubs to fellowship with others that like sew; not to mention the great prices!
