DO NOT LIVE HERE.
Upon moving in, I immediately marched back into the office due to the fact that my apartment was FILTHY. They didn't bother to clean up after the previous tenant. It was so bad that I was afraid to touch anything in the kitchen and bathroom. The counters and appliances are very worn and gross looking- to the point where I'm embarrassed to invite people over.
Also, the AC has not worked SINCE I MOVED IN. I've called the office 5 times in a week and each time the maintenance crew will tweak one little thing- hoping it will work. Nothing they've tried has helped. They seem to be content doing the bare minimum amount of effort.
I am usually a sickeningly positive person, so the fact that I'm leaving this review should speak for how bad this complex is.
Run. Save yourself.
7100 Almeda Apartments taught me that using the term "renovation" is a way to avoid showing the actual apartment.
By the time I was locked into the lease and walked into the "renovated" apartment, it was too late. All I found was foundation cracks, bugs, rusted fixtures, and a nasty bathroom. The window sills were so deteriorated that rain leaked inside. The washer/dryer are outside in an old utility closet which made it a huge inconvenience to do laundry during the heat, cold, or when it rained. Maintenance said the office decides what gets fixed. The office claimed it was corporate. By the time the blame game was over, my apartment was no better off.

Provided by SuperpagesWhen the lease is up, I'm out. These rundown apartments aren't worth the price. There's always something that doesn't work and office staff won't return phone calls or pretend to take action.

Provided by SuperpagesNEVER LIVE HERE. It is awful. Management changes every 2 months. Gate is always broken and you cant get in. Workers in the office all tell you something different everytime you go in. There is NO reason to live here, hate everything about it. Pay the extra $100 a month to live across the street. ANYWHERE BUT HERE. If something breaks in your apartment it takes close to 2 weeks to get it fixed (including a/c). Everyone in the office is rude, and its a new staff EVERY month. STAY AWAY!

Provided by Superpages7100 Almeda Apts aren't too bad but not too good either. The air conditioning units struggle to keep up with the heat, the carpets aren't clean and the pools are frequently green. Also, the entrance and/or exit gates are frequently broken so security is not great. The location is great for students and people working in the medical center but right across the road at AMLI it's much nicer for not much more a month.
