Cenac Towing Company is a tugboat and barge company that offers marine transportation services throughout coastal areas, such as the Gulf of Mexico and some part of the Eastern Seaboard. It is a subsidiary of TEPPCO Natural Gas Services, a subsidiary of TEPPCO Partners, which is a publicly traded partnership with an enterprise value of approximately $4 billion, which conducts business through various subsidiary operating companies. TEPPCO owns and operates one of the largest common carrier pipelines of refined petroleum products and liquefied petroleum gases in the United States. The company also owns and operates petrochemical and natural gas liquid pipelines, and is engaged in crude oil transportation, storage, gathering and marketing. TEPPCO owns and operates natural gas gathering systems. It owns 50 percent of interests in Seaway Crude Pipeline Company, Centennial Pipeline and Mont Belvieu Storage Partners and an undivided ownership interest in the Basin Pipeline.
