My friend & I had a GREAT LUNCH & I have gone back alone several times with OUTSTANDING FOOD & PEOPLE THAT WORK THERE 😄😄😄😄
While on vacation, I tried Shiver's BBQ. I didn't expect much since South Florida isn't known for BBQ, but what I found was BBQ that could compete with the BBQ back home in SC. The sausage sampler was amazing! The jalapeño cheddar was the best of the sausages. Between the three of us, we had briscit, pulled pork, and ribs. All three were tender, juicy, and full of flavor. They have multiple sauces to try, but we all agreed that the peppered sauce & the sweet were the best. As for dessert, we shared a banana pudding, which was delicious, and a key lime pie, which I have never cared too much for, but their version was very tasty. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good southern BBQ.
South Florida has rapidly changed over the last several years. It is great to get to enjoy a meal at an establishment that has stood the test of time...and several hurricanes.
You can't go wrong with any of the well prepared meats or sides. Everyone will find a favorite. The waitresses are as sweet as any you will ever find and will accomodate any group. Kids will love the decor and the good selection the kid's menu provides.
You will get a ton of food for your dollar and walk away having experienced a true southern BBQ restraunt.
