Criterion Diamonds

My, now fiancé, and I just graduated college and are working our way out of student loans.

I checked with the big name diamond chains and the local stores but they were either way too overpriced or had a very limited selection.

At first glance Criterion Diamonds might not have the biggest selection, but they excel at beautiful custom made rings and cut diamonds.

The engagment ring and diamond I was going to buy at Shane Co. was going to cost me 4,500 dollars but the same exact style ring, diamond with the same qualities, AND the wedding ring cost me only 2,200.

They were friendly, helpful, and worked hard to find the perfect ring and rock that was within my price range. I cannot rate this store high enough.

I have had 2 rings sized, a heavy chain cleaned and am currently having 2 monograms put on bracelets. I have always had GREAT service, Heather is always so helpful and friendly. NEVER a problem, all my things were finished as promised, as a matter of fact one piece was finished 4 days early. I am very pleased to have found them and will be continuing to do business with them for years to come I'm sure. Thank you Heather & Criterion Diamonds, ya'll are awesome !!!

Big shout out to Mark over at Criterion! Went in not knowing anything about engagement rings, and left there with exactly what I wanted, and totally saved me a ton of money. I hit some other big Atlanta stores, just to get lots of pushy sales people wanting to close the sale that day. I don't like being pressured, and Mark took hours with me to get me exactly what I wanted. Thanks again, and I will be back for our bands in October.

25+ years ago my husband purchased me a 4 carat Ruby engagement ring. I wore this ring everyday 24/7 for over 20 years. In 2011 I brought it to Criterion Diamonds because the ruby was getting a little loose. They repaired it for me. I wore it once again 24/7 until June 2015 when once again the ruby got loose again. I brought it back to Criterion and they suggested that I have them rebuild the setting of my ring so that it would be stronger. I agreed and paid $140 (which included a slight repair on a bracelet). When I got home with my new/improved engagement ring my husband suggested that I only wear it when I went out. I agreed. I wore it three times since July when I picked it up. On the third time I happened to look down and realized I was wearing an empty setting, my Ruby was gone. I went into Criterion today to complain and showed the Lady my ring. She could only repeat four different times that 'I' must have gotten the ring snagged on something and it was my fault the ruby fell out. My fault. I wore this ring for over 20 years and I know darn well I snagged it over and over but the ruby never fell out! But after they 'rebuild' the setting to make it stronger, on the third wearing I loose my 4 carat ruby and all she can keep saying is that 'You must have snagged it on something'. NO "we are sorry" NO let's make it better NO NOTHING, just blaming me. I WILL NEVER AGAIN GIVE CRITERION DIAMONDS ONE DIME OF BUSINESS AND PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU GIVE THEM YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY. THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK.

DO NOT get ANY hand made jewelry from CRITERION DIAMONDS! They will take a year, NEVER follow up with you and you will have to follow up after they said they would and don't, tell you it will be done next Friday and then that date passes and then they will say next Friday and continue the cycle. Not once but twice I had a ring designed from them for my wedding and the stones kept falling out. Not to mention, I did not have a ring for my wedding because they never started on my design because I apparently didn't respond to an email...EVER HEARD OF A PHONE? So I got my ring 2 months after I was married and it lasted a month and the stones kept falling out INCLUDING THE BIG STONE. We asked for a refund and they said NO only store credit, so I had them design a new ring. After a month into the design I was sent an email saying it would be 100% complete by next Friday. I did not get the ring until 4 months later...I again asked for a refund and they said no. So, I took the ring and had it all of 24 hours and 4 diamonds had fallen out. Again, I asked for a refund and they said no. I have been married for 10 months and I wear NO RING on my finger. Refusal for a refund, on 3 attempts, will be the worst thing they could have done. I will be taking this to court!!! I will drag it out for years if I have too. CUSTOMER SERVICE - GET SOME! ! ! ! !
