I was extremely nervous for having my wisdom teeth removed because I've seen other family members go through this and had terrible experiences, incredible swelling, uncontrollable pain, and GI reactions to the narcotics. Dr Regina knew just how nervous I was and recommended IV sedation & local anesthesia so that I wouldn't have to watch and feel the whole procedure. Best idea ever because I closed my eyes and before I knew it I woke up and was asking for more sedation because I didn't feel anything and thought they hadn't even begun! I couldn't feel a thing! She obviously was very gentle because it's been over 24 hours and still have no swelling despite the fact that my teeth were impacted and needed to be cut in pieces. I've taken the pain meds and antibiotics she prescribed and have remained pain free! I couldn't thank her enough for doing such an amazing job and being so empathetic towards my fears!

This dentist office is extremely unprofessional. I would not recommend this place to anyone. My brother had to have his wisdom teeth and two other smaller teeth that needed to be surgically removed. This dentist scheduled for surgery only to tell my mother (after the initial surgery) that she was unable to remove them all because she needed a specific type of xray that is not done in her office. That is all well and good but why did she proceed with surgery in the first place to take out just one tooth when she could have cancelled and rescheduled to get them all out at once after the xrays. It seemed to me that she was out for the extra money. They wanted to charge my mother a second fee for the anesthesia but luckily my mom complained to the insurance and that particular situation was resolved since the insurance/medicaid had already paid for ALL of the extractions. Unfortunately it meant a second surgery for my brother and more pain.



Another complaint I have of these people is that before the second surgery they called my mother in for more xrays without advanced notice. Two days before the surgery they told her she had to bring him in and that she only had til 4pm to do it. They called the tuesday right before surgery on thursday to let her know this rather than at least letting her know monday about bringing him in tuesday. I find that very unprofessional indeed. What if she hadn't been able to go in on tuesday? That would have either delayed things or meant another cancellation.



The icing on the cake was that my brother suffered through the second surgery. He says he felt EVERYTHING during the procedure. Either it was not enough anesthesia or something went wrong with that because he was in a great deal of pain.



This place is AWFUL.
