Our family had thought we found a decent quick-dine-in type restaurant to frequent since 2008. Then, all hell broke loose at this location!!??
Overview:
It seems this location is under new management because we were regulars from 2008-2010 but a would be 4-star rating now is only a 1-star rating. In reality... we decided after the incident that happened today, along with a few other incidents in 2010; we will no longer be customers at moe's southwest grill.
Why the 1-Star Rating:
In the past few months, we've noticed that the tables and floors are pretty dirty when we search for a place to sit. The EE's no longer yell "welcome to moes" when we enter the restaurant.
More recently, there have been days when we spent over $20 just for two burrito combos and drinks and some guy tells the other workers not to give us any extra sauces or chips. This guy (short hispanic guy w/ stocky built) he also watches the amount of food and toppings that are being put on our orders. One day, he grabbed my burritto from a line worker and threw it on the back of a grill then remade my whole order and made it as small as a children's size just because I had one of their $2.00 discount coupons.
Today, my Wife was accussed of "photocopying" a coupon that is readily available to anyone to print at ANYTIME. This was not one of those one-time-only coupons. So, what is the problem even if we did photocopy this coupon (even though it was freshly printed the same day we received it in our email)!!?? This was our second time using a coupon and we even received unfair treatment because we wanted to use it.
One guy spoke in Spanish to another worker and then the latter worker (who used to be very friendly) stated that he could not give us one extra complimentary sauce. Why is the sauce complimentary then??
To end today's incident...I wanted to mention that we were overcharged by $2.00 and some odd change; therefore, making the coupon Irrelevant. I called once arriving home to let the manager know how I felt personally, but supposedly there was nobody to speak to at the time.
THEY LOST OUR FUTURE BUSINESS TODAY...BUT MAYBE THEY DON'T CARE!!!
