I appreciate the discount and I like how my questions regarding alignment were answered with patience.

Your folks helped me out of a real bind. Need to leave town early in the A.M., now that is possible again.

I've brought it there twice in the past week and have been extremely happy with the results both times. Alex has been very helpful with suggestions, as well as following up on everything I inquired about.

I was worked in a busy schedule and I REALLY appreciate it. :) The staff was great.

What can I say, it starts from the manager (who just called me because of my negative yelp review) to the assistant manager (who had me wait for an hour and ten minutes to change a filter that she said would take 20 minutes to do to the service desk guy that was working the front desk with the assistant manager.



You could tell the only reason why the manager called me was because he was probably forced to by his boss. He wasn’t sympathetic or apologetic at all and when I told him to look at the negative reviews they have online he shrugged it off and said "people write negative reviews for any reason, for example if we leave a finger print on their door on accident there goes another negative review".... it’s no wonder his employees lack the level of professionalism successful businesses need in today’s day and age! He never once apologized for his rude employees (his assistant manager and the big Spanish guy working the front desk that day).



Being in the service business for the past 18 years I can tell you this is not how any manager should handle an upset customer. He did not offer any ways of rectifying the situation or even apologize for his employees. It even seemed like he was playing on his computer and not really paying attention when I was telling him my story.



If tables were turned the first thing I would have said was "First and formost I am extremely sorry for my employees rude behavior, I have had a very serious talk with them and ensure you that this will never ever happen again. Also I am also extremely sorry for having you wait an hour and ten minutes for a job that we told you would take 20 minutes and should have only taken 20 minutes. I also want to make it up to you by..... again we really want to emphasize how valuable our customers are to us here at Hogan & Sons and the way you were treated is not acceptable". Instead I got a manager that was just calling because he was probably forced to and honestly didn’t care and it shows.

Here is my original Yelp review: I have been going to Hogan & Sons for over 10 years, I have had bad service there before but this was my last and final attempt to get good service there. First off they had me wait an hour and ten minutes to change a filter that they said would take 20-30 minutes max (originally they said 20 minutes then said 30 minutes). When confronted about this the lady was extremely rude and her coworker was even worst. I was angry and upset for having to wait so long and told them I would write a negative review online about my service. The male coworker then mocked me "ooohhh a negative review oooohh" etc etc. I laughed it off and asked for my keys and left without the filter. I also asked to have the district manager call me but they never did (not surprised). I will not be going back there ever again and when people ask me about that place I will tell them my story.



I guess the fact that they barely have 2 stars on yelp and 2.5 stars on Google should be a sign......

I went in for an oil change and I received excellent service. Employees there served in a very professional way.

My experience at Hogan and sons was excellent. They provided a quote for the service, performed the work as explained, and even provided a list of recommended services, but without any pressure to have them performed immediately. They provided a courtesy shuttle to get me to work too. I highly recommend Hogan and Sons.

Hogan and Sons at Centreville Road is the best. They have qualified people who are personable as well as professional. Highly recommend them. Alex runs an outstanding front desk.

I love Hogan and Son's! They really show you they appreciate your business. They always recommend things on my car and are sure to put them in order of importance and don't give me any pressure if I can't afford the maintenance at the time. Jonael is their service manager and he is fantastical!!! He is great at explaining why certain things are done. I bought my car brand new and there is way more maintenance required than what is actually needed! That is where Jonael has helped me the most. Thanks to the Hogan and Son's crew for all their help over the last couple years!

I have been taking my 2000 VW Beetle to Hogan & Sons in Herndon since approximately 2005, and I have always been impressed with their customer service and knowledgeable repair of my car. However, more recently I felt inclined to write this review because they went above and beyond when my water pump went out and saved me from paying over $900.00 for a repair at another location by extending my parts warranty which had recently expired on a repair they completed in 2008. They did not have to do this, but extended this to me for being a long time customer, and wanted to help me out. Now ask yourself this, how often do you hear of a auto repair/mechanic of trying to make you NOT make an unnecessary repair? I would recommend Hogan & Sons to any of my friends and family, and my brother in-law is a mechanic!

I bought a living social deal to get my oil changed and some tire discounts. I understand about living social and how, while it gets merchants exposed, it also represents an unprofitible transaction for them as they ojly get twenty five cents on the dollar for the merchant. Nevertheless, I am on a budget and look for good deals. Being a small business owner is a tough road. What I got here was good service, friendly and sound advice all at a great price. They tried to upsell me on the tires but were not too pushy. I received exactly what I paid for with a smile from them. For simple things I will be happy to bring my car back to Hogan & Sons. I am blessed that I can afford a newer car that is still under warranty.

All in all I was very pleased with Hogan and Sons, and will comfortably provide them a very high recommendation. I have no doubt that I'll continue to come to H&S for all my maintenance as long as I live in northern Virginia.

I recently went to Hogan's on the recommendation of a coworker to have a misfire repaired and also for a lot of preventive maintenance which happened to be due around the same time I was having issues with the spark plugs. They did a tremendous amount of work on my car (transmission flush, power steering flush, repaired misfire, alignment, oil change, all new belts, all new spark plugs/coils, tire rotation, and a few other things I can't remember) all in less than one day while I was at the office, and had it ready before I was done work.

I went to Hogans and Sons in Herndon for an oil change and 60,000-mile maintenance check at the last minute. They were very accommodating and ensured me that it would be done that day. Anyways, about an hour goes by and one of the mechanics approaches me. He tells me everything they did and what needed to be fixed, flushed, or replaced. He gave good explanations why these things needed to be done, prices and answered all my questions. Of course, I assumed it would cost serious dollars and it did however, I was expecting it to cost more - he even helped me figure out what discounts I qualified for and options for paying (they have a 0% interest card I took advantage of). They kept their promise of making sure it was done that day, extremely professional, pricing I thought was reasonable, and overall service was excellent.

I had a problem with my car that no one could find what was wrong and they fixed it for only $300. I thought it would be much more for what they did.

In thirty minutes, my tire was sans nail, patched up, and good as new. I was a little wary about the fact that we didn't discuss the cost before they fixed it, but it turns out that I had nothing to worry about. They fixed it super cheap and sent me on my way.

I know I can always count on excellent service and great prices. Thank you!

troy and rob both extended great cust svc. prices were reasonable and work was performed to a very high standard. ordered custom tires and they were delivered to the store the very next day. i would recommend them to anyone. awesome!!!
