HOTWORX - Henderson, NV (Black Mountain)

I've been an basic HOA resident for 2 years now. What a complete nightmare. I've never had problems like I've had on this property and lived everywhere, all over the world. Sexual harassment. Gang stalking. Drugs & Drunks. Non professional, tight-lipped, abusive "staff" consisting of 2 people. Richard Castro is HOA President as well as the manager for cash renters which is a MAJOR conflict of interest. He puts everything onto the other lady that works down at the front; Jean totally ignores all problems....sexual perverted gate guy Anthony stalks me for 2 yrs, films me. Noise harassed by my upstairs neighbor for 1 yr, finally she's evicted...files FELONY assault charges on me, I had to put up my car, bond to get out jail.. then last night someone was pounding on my door, not identifying over and over. I was nearly attacked taking out garbage, I invested everything. Now I'm stuck. ...it's a nightmare.Beautiful mountain, horrible place. I'm afraid I'll be murdered. I'm pressing lawsuit.

I lived in Bighorn from 2009 to 2011. This was the first and only apartment I looked at after it being recommended by a couple friends and I knew it was for me. The area is BEAUTIFUL, right on the mountains and overlooking the city. What a spectacular view. Also the landscaping is lovely and I enjoyed having grass and trees and well kept grounds. People complain about the wildlife but that was actually my favorite part of living here. I went for morning and evening walks and enjoyed birds in their nests, quail, rabbits, and foxes. Didn't enjoy the rattlesnakes, coyotes (I have a little dog) and scorpions too much but that's what comes on living on the edge of a city in the desert. Just be aware of your surroundings. I too met up with a FEW scorpions in the years I lived here but it was no big deal with the pest control spraying once every two weeks.



My one and only complaint at this apartment was some annoying neighbors but that is another risk that comes of living in close proximity with other people. For the most part it wasn't a big problem and management always addressed my concerns immediately. I appreciated them and thought they were a friendly and caring crew. I grew up and got married and had to leave my wonderful apartment but if I ever had to I would definitely go back to Bighorn.

Beautiful apts,but sadling is over run by SCORPIONS!!! No way to live day to day
