Scott BBQ

I'm native to region & prefer eastern carolina vinegar-pepper pulled bbq; eat lotsa places.I'd heard of Scott for years; we were in manning,completed business early on a Friday afternoon so I convinced wife to ride to hemingway. I'd heard Scott was a "dirt, flies & black joint" ... well, sorta yes ... but dang if they ain't got some of the best bbq around (like McCabes Manning too). Scott is NOT a dine-in place. But the little storefront had a old table & a 2 chairs so they let us 2 old crackers sit. We ordered from a take-out window & each got a "bbq sandwich" that's nearly a pound of bbq packed in a burger clamshell w/ 2 slices of white bread. I like hot bbq & theirs already has a good dollop in it. Lotsa top-notch bbq joints cook w/ a mix of gas & wood. SCOTT IS WOOD ONLY! and man is it great! Now, don't expect any sides cuz they ain't got none. We each had a bbq s/w, she a pepsi & a pack of M&Ms... me a Red Rock; hey it's good! ate bbq all next day too.mmm! tab was under $13T
