Montana Eye Care

The staff is super friendly from check in to check out. The Dr was amazing with my 5 year old daughter... Super awesome, would recommend to anyone.... Will continue going back with both children...

I had my first appointment at Montana Eye Care last week. Let me start off by saying all the staff was wonderful. They were friendly and efficient. The bad part is I waited 40 minutes or so past my appointment time to be seen. After 15 minutes I went up one of the front desk people and let them know I was still waiting. Apparently, Dr. Haskell, who I was scheduled to see had an emergency. I understand emergencies, but this was not a good first impression. I also didn't really like going from one room to the next. I felt like I was getting the run around a lot. The technician who started my exam was great and efficient as was the dr. and the technician who helped me pick out my glasses. I think the next time I make an appointment I am going to do it for morning. This was late afternoon and early evening by the time I got done and I was tired and was everyone else.

No matter how busy he may appear to be, Dr. Bill Simons takes the time necessary me.

I was excited to see what new technology this new building might offer with experienced doctors at the helm. I saw Dr. Rob Simons and the front office staff from scheduling to the medical assistant that did my initial testing before I was shown back to a room were kind, welcoming, and patient. I know I am in capable hands with Dr. Simons and his capable staff. This is the best in Helena!

The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The dr was easy on the eyes (funny joke, right?), and everyone seemed very knowledgeable. The gal helping my daughter and I pick out our frames was very nice but also honest with me about frames that didn't suit the shape of my face. When I scheduled the appointment they were only couple weeks out and when I got there (5 min early), they called my name before I had even finished filling out my history form. It's nice to not have to wait 20 min or longer to be seen. Also, great new facilities! (I was not bribed in any way to post this review, nor do I personally know anyone at Montana Eye Care. I just like sharing great experiences with business in Helena!)

Many year patient here, but no longer. With their new building the customer service and hometown feel is gone. The staff are anything but friendly and accommodating. It's always been a wait in the office when you get there. (They even have signs everywhere that say if you've waited more than 15 minutes to see the receptionist.) However, now they have a policy that they will not see patients that are 10 minutes past the appointment time. So it's okay for you to be there and wait in their office for them, but not for them to wait on you. Look elsewhere for your eye care needs.
