Cool place, with some really nice people and decent prices. would recommend for anyone looking for a guard card and doesn't want a runaround on cost.

This is a family owned business, where both mother and daughter have absolutely no people skills. I came in to get my certifications replaced, and I was given inaccurate information and poor customer service. They have good rates, however to have to put up with their attitude, I would rather pay more with a company that values their clients. Money was not the issue, but when I have to take a bus in the rain from Long Beach to Harbor City to be treated unacceptably is poor ethics and just plain wrong. I will not be using any of their services again or even recommend them to anyone.

Cheap, Fast, No BS or last minute price changes like some OTHER places in town. Sick of all the crap with places that say "we cost this much" till you get there and they add a bunch of extra fee sh**. This place is not all high tech and busy but that's what makes it easy to get in and get out and not be sold or conned.

It's a welcoming place with nice people who are willing to help and the prices are good : )

I needed to get a guard card so i called a few places. my friend told me to call active, i called them & was suprised at the differance in prices. most of the places i was calling wanted $100 or more just for the class and i had to do my live scan with them for $80 & the state was 60, active said there class was 60, i was like wow realy? thats 40 bulks savings not to bad, then they said the live scan was between 68 & 76 and i got to choose where i wanted to do it at, the state fee was only 50 not 60. i asked why if its 50 do i have to pay 60 at the other place and the only thing we could figure out is they send it in for me & charge an extra 10 bulks to drop it in the mail for me, im thinking uhhh NO.I took the class with active last week and it was enjoyable (as a class can be) the people there are nice & seem to really care that every thing gets done right, which i liked, the best thing i can say is the price was right! im thinking about going back & getting my firearms & baton Lic
