        Overall

        I was a bit hesitant to go to Brownstone because of the reviews on here, but I'm glad I went anyway! The waitress we had was very sweet and competent. We all had soup - the chicken soup was good and the french onion was awesome! I had a waldorf salad, and it was very fresh with a great mix of toppings. My parents had fried clams (they say they were light and very good) and grilled salmon was moist and tender. (I don't eat seafood, so I have to trust their tastes!) Also, we got rice pudding that was made by the owner's wife. It was awesome, so save room if they have it!
