#1 in our book!! Great service, kind & honest employees, dependable and very reasonable! We've been using Dupont for all our business and personal automotive needs for over 2 years now. (Tires, Breaks, Oil changes, alternator, and more. We've been very pleased with everything and wouldn't take our business anywhere else.

If you bought a Groupon deal for an oil change, beware that it's not as good of a deal as you think it is. These Groupons clearly state that the Groupon does not cover "tax or gratuity". However, Dupont Tire will charge you an "Oil Waste Fee" of about $3.50 to cover some of their costs. Do not be fooled though, this fee is NOT a tax. It is a fee created by Dupont Tire. Other auto repair and lube establishments have not charged this "fee".



Yes, SC does place an $0.08 per gallon excise tax on motor on the wholesale level as a result of the SC Solid Waste Policy Management Act of 1991. However, this is normally paid by whoever purchases the oil when it first enters SC.



Dupont Tire disappointed me for this reason. Don't offer an oil change for one price and charge another $3.50-$4.00 "tax" once I get there. Jiffy Lube went through a lawsuit in 2007 for doing just that. That's dishonest business.

You couldn't ask for better service, fair pricing and a great atmosphere. The staff was super nice & took good care of me & my car. I will definitely tell my friends about them & won't be taking my car anywhere else. Just try them once - thats all you will need to be convinced.- Dorothy
